The Ford SuperDuty Front Axle Lower Truss is a bolt-together underside reinforcement for the front axle of the 2005-2010 F-250 and F-350. It ties the axle together from inner-C to inner-C without giving up any ground clearance under the cast differential, so your housing survives the abuse of high-speed desert running, jumps, and big-tire trail use.
Key Features
- Built from 1/4" thick mild steel, precision CNC-designed, cut, and bent for accurate fitment out of the box.
- Spans the full length of the axle, inner-C to inner-C, reinforcing the entire tube rather than just a center section.
- Lower triangular profile adds structural rigidity and lets the axle skid over obstacles instead of catching on them.
- No loss of ground clearance beneath the cast differential housing.
- Purpose-built for drivers who run fast and jump their trucks, where axle flex and tube failure are real risks.
- Ships as 5 separate pieces for compact, lower-cost shipping and easier fit-up during welding.
- Made in the USA.
Fitment & Compatibility
Fits the Ford Super Duty F-250 and F-350 front axle, 2005-2010. This is the lower (underside) truss for the SuperDuty front axle. Lower control arm bracket gussets must be removed prior to installation, and light trimming between the truss and the inner-C may be needed for a tight fit. If you are also upgrading front steering on the same axle, see our Full Hydro Weld-On High Steer Arms for the 05+ SuperDuty and the Crossover Weld-On High Steer Arms for the 05+ SuperDuty.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which trucks does this truss fit?
It is designed for the front axle of the 2005-2010 Ford Super Duty F-250 and F-350.
Does it reduce ground clearance?
No. The lower truss is shaped to clear the cast differential, so you keep your ground clearance under the pumpkin while gaining a skid-friendly lower profile.
Is welding required to install it?
Yes. This is a weld-on reinforcement and welding to the cast and forged axle should be done by a competent welder. You will also need to remove the lower control arm bracket gussets first and may need to trim slightly for a tight fit against the inner-C.
Does it come assembled?
No. It ships as 5 separate pieces to keep shipping compact and to make fit-up and tacking easier during installation.
How is it finished?
It ships as bare steel. Prime and paint it during installation to protect it from corrosion.
