This Artec full-width rear truss is built for centered-differential Dana 44 axles going into a link-suspension build. Cut from 1/4" mild steel, it spans the entire housing - roughly 43.5" - to reinforce the tubes end to end while giving you a clean, low-profile platform to mount your link joints. It is designed specifically for triangulated 4-link suspensions running coilover or air shocks, not for factory leaf or stock-bracket setups.
Key Features
- 1/4" mild steel, precision CNC cut and formed
- Full-width design spans the entire axle (approx. 43.5") for complete tube reinforcement
- Low profile lets link joints mount with ideal geometry, roughly 8" from the axle centerline
- Interlocked 1/4" gussets for maximum rigidity and easy assembly
- Sleek profile clears other components and fits into tight chassis
- For centered (symmetrical) differential Dana 44 housings
Fitment & Compatibility
Fits centered-differential Dana 44 rear axle housings. This truss is engineered for triangulated 4-link suspensions with coilover or air shocks - it is not intended for factory applications that retain stock spring brackets. Add Truss Upper Link Mounts and Coilover Tabs for Truss to complete your link and shock mounting. Weld-on installation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will this fit my Dana 44?
It fits centered-differential (symmetrical) Dana 44 housings. It is designed for custom link builds, not for a factory axle that still uses stock leaf-spring or coil brackets.
Can I use it with a factory suspension?
No. This truss is built for triangulated 4-link suspensions with coilover or air shocks and is not meant for stock-bracket applications.
Why does full-width matter?
Spanning the entire housing - about 43.5" - reinforces the tubes across their whole length rather than only at the link mounts, so the axle resists bending and twisting far better.
Does it need welding?
Yes. The truss and its interlocked gussets are welded to the housing; this is a fabrication-oriented, weld-on part.
