KMC Wheels FAQs
Where is KMC based?
KMC is based in Greenwood Village, Colorado, and is part of the Wheel Pros / Hoonigan Group family of brands.
What is the KMC wheel warranty?
Aluminum wheel structure is covered for as long as the original buyer owns the wheels, and materials and workmanship for one year. Finishes get one year for chrome and paint and two years for PVD, and polished aluminum is not covered.
How fast do KMC wheels ship?
In-stock items ship from NVMOS in 24–48 hours. Some wheels ship direct from the brand, so check the product page or call for timing.
Are KMC beadlock wheels street legal?
KMC sells its true beadlock wheels for off-road use only. Simulated-beadlock and BRS wheels are the street-friendly alternatives.
What is KMC's Bead Retention System (BRS)?
BRS is KMC's design for helping the tire bead stay in place at low air pressure. You get much of the trail benefit of airing down without bolting on a beadlock ring.
Will KMC wheels stick out past my fenders?
Many KMC off-road wheels use deep negative offsets of around -38 to -48 mm, which push the wheel outward. Check fender clearance and whether you will need to trim before ordering.
