INEOS Grenadier Accessories: Racks, Steps, Lights and Storage

The INEOS Grenadier comes from the factory with roof load points, a rear ladder, utility belt mounting points, a rooftop power port and an overhead switch panel, so most of the best accessories bolt on without drilling and plug into wiring that is already there. Station Wagon vs Quartermaster: what fits what?

The Grenadier Station Wagon and the Quartermaster pickup share the front half of the truck, so front-end parts like bumpers, ditch light brackets and suspension often fit both. Body-side and cargo-area parts usually do not. Here is how the listings we carry describe it:

If a listing just says "INEOS Grenadier" without naming a body style, assume it was designed around the Station Wagon and call us before ordering for a Quartermaster.

What is the best roof rack for the INEOS Grenadier?

It depends on what you are carrying. There are three approaches in what we carry.

Low-profile rail systems

The DVA Mechanics DualTrack-T MAX (Gen 2) Cross Bar Rail Kit is a set of 6061-T6 aluminum bars that bolt to the factory roof points. Each bar carries a full-length L-Track row and a 25mm T-Slot, so L-Track and T-Slot hardware both drop in without adapter plates. DVA lists the profile at about 1 inch and says it still clears a standard 7-ft garage door. The 2-rail kit is rated 300 lb static / 150 lb dynamic and suits awnings and lighter cargo; the 4-rail kit is rated 600 lb static / 300 lb dynamic and is the one DVA specifies for a roof top tent. Install is listed at about 45 minutes, and it fits both the Station Wagon and Quartermaster (2023+).

For an awning, the DVA Awning Mount V2 drops into the DualTrack channel, adds about 3 inches of height, and fits most 270-degree and straight pull-out awnings. It requires the DualTrack rails.

Platforms on the grab-handle mounts

The Canyon Adventure Vans Roof Platform bolts to the Grenadier's factory roof grab-handle platform instead of covering the whole roof. CAV lists each platform at 25 lb and rated for 300 lb, and you can order a front, rear or pair. It is a good fit if you want to carry recovery boards and lights without a full rack.

Full-length expedition racks

Eezi-Awn offers its K9 Roof Rack System for the Grenadier, a fully welded, powder-coated aluminum rack sold as a complete system with platform, legs and hardware. Configurations vary, so check the product page for the exact size and what comes with your build.

If you camp on the roof, the Dirtbox Overland Roof Top Tent Combo is built for the Grenadier and mounts to Dirtbox's own brackets, so Dirtbox says no roof rack is needed.

Grenadier side steps: fold-away vs power

The Grenadier sits tall, and once there is a rack or tent on the roof you need a way up. There are two very different options.

• DVA SideStep Gen 2 with Extended Foot: a pair of stainless steel fold-away steps that bolt to the rear door hinge bolts with no drilling. Gen 2 adds a fold-out foot for a bigger standing area. They lock stowed or deployed and DVA lists about 10 minutes per side to install. DVA positions them for roof access rather than cab entry.
• DVA Electric Power Side Steps with LED: running boards that deploy when a door opens and tuck under the rocker when it closes, with LED strips on the step surface. They fit the Station Wagon (2023-present) and tie into the vehicle's electronics through a control module, so DVA recommends professional installation.

The rear ladder handles roof access at the back. Dirtbox makes a rear ladder with a jerry can holder that bolts to factory mounting points (the jerry can is not included).

Spare tire storage and covers

The rear-mounted spare is a lot of unused space. The DVA TrailGate Spare Tire Utility System turns it into a lockable storage locker, a tire cover and a fold-down camp table in one bolt-on unit. Order the 17-inch or 18-inch option to match your spare; DVA lists fitment for tires from 31.5 to 33.0 inches overall, including 255/70R18, 275/70R17 and 285/70R17. DVA also warns that stick-on balance weights on the inside of the wheel can block proper fitment, so check before you order.

The rear ladder can carry gear too. The DVA Ladder-Mounted Recovery Board Carrier holds MaxTrax MKII and Lite boards flat against the door with a tool-free quick-release pin, and the DVA Ladder-Mounted Hi-Lift Jack Carrier does the same for a jack. Grenadier lighting upgrades

Front bumper light bars

The DVA Front Bumper Light Mount puts a straight light bar inside the factory bumper opening using existing mounting points, with no cutting or drilling, and DVA says it keeps the OEM fog lights and approach angle. It is offered in U.S./Global and Euro versions. DVA lists it as working with most straight LED bars, and offers its own bars for it:

• DVA 32" LED Light Bar: single row, combo spot and flood, 8,800 raw lumens at 90W per DVA, IP67, Deutsch DTP connector. DVA also lists a yellow version.
• DVA Front Bumper 3-Light Bar: three Cree pods, about 13,200 combined lumens at about 110W per DVA, IP68.

Roof and scene lighting

The Grenadier has a factory rooftop power port (DVA calls it EXT3), which makes side lighting simple. The DVA LED Side Flood Light clamps to the factory roof bar and plugs into that port with a pre-fitted DTP connector; DVA lists 2,400 lumens per light and includes a snap-on yellow lens. For lighting all the way around the truck, the Canyon Adventure Vans 4-Light Scene Lighting Kit mounts four Diode Dynamics Stage Series rock lights at the grab-handle locations with a harness pre-wired for the OEM Deutsch connectors.

For forward lighting above the windshield, the C.O.R.E. Visor Light Bar carries up to six lights on four rain-gutter mounting points. For ditch lights, Rago Fabrication's Ditch Light Brackets sit in front of the mirrors and take one 6-inch light each. Interior and cargo storage

Drawer systems

The cargo area is where most Grenadier builds get organized. The Diabolical Grenadier Complete Drawer System is an aluminum drawer with a leveling kit, designed so the top sits level with the rear seats folded flat. Diabolical lists Accuride slides rated 250 lb per side and key-lockable latches. Goose Gear's Explore Series Side x Side Drawer Module is built for the 2024+ Grenadier in a 10-inch height with three split options; it mounts to Goose Gear's Rear Plate System, sold separately. If you would rather slide a cooler out than dig for it, the CAV Cargo Tray System Pro is a 40 x 30 inch tray on slides CAV rates for 550 lb, mounted to the factory L-Tracks.

Rails, MOLLE and small-item storage

The DVA Interior Utility Rails add L-Track along both sides of the cargo area for owners whose Grenadier did not come with the factory rail option. Rago Fabrication Rear Window MOLLE Panels give you a gear wall and help shield the glass. Up front, the CAV Overhead MOLLE Panel mounts to the overhead switch panel using four existing screws. Exterior storage

The DVA Exterior Utility Belt, Full Set covers all four doors and both rear panels with L-Track rails for jerry cans, boards, MOLLE and lights. DVA says it matches the factory belt's dimensions with a dual anodized and powder-coated finish. It fits the Station Wagon (2023-present). The DVA Side Accessory Carrier, Gen 2 bridges the roof rails down to the utility belt for a vertical mounting rail on each side; DVA lists 25 lb per rail and says it does not fit the Quartermaster.

Armor, bumpers and suspension

The Dirtbox Modular Winch Bumper and Bullbar Kit fits the Grenadier and Quartermaster, with a winch mount the vendor rates for a 13,500 lb winch. For lift and load, Eibach makes Pro-Lift-Kit springs for the 2024-2026 Grenadier 4WD and Quartermaster, such as the +1.7 in. front / +1.2 in. rear set. Do I have to drill to install Grenadier accessories?
