Getting up to the roof rack, a rooftop tent or the top of the windshield is a lot easier with a real foothold. DVA Mechanics' SideStep Gen 2 is a pair of fold-away steps that bolt to the Grenadier's rear door hinge bolts, with no drilling and nothing permanent. Gen 2 moves to stainless steel and adds a fold-out extended foot, so you get a bigger, more secure place to stand while you load gear or work on the roof. When you're done, the foot folds back into the step and the whole thing stows flat against the truck.

- Fold-out extended foot: a second foot section swings out from the main step for a larger standing area and more room for your boot.
- Stainless steel construction: better corrosion resistance for a part that lives in rain, mud, road spray and snow.
