About Dobinsons

Dobinsons began in 1953 when blacksmith Reg Dobinson opened Dobinsons Welding Works in Queensland, Australia. It grew into a dedicated spring and suspension company, with leaf and coil spring lines at its Rockhampton plant and its own shock absorbers since the late 1990s.

The US arm opened in Doral, Florida in 2017, and the brand now ships to more than 50 countries. Here it's best known for Australian-made springs and the MRR 3-way adjustable monotube reservoir shocks.

What we carry from Dobinsons

Most of our Dobinsons lineup is built for the Ford Bronco. That includes MRR 3-way adjustable lift kits, MRR front and rear shocks and struts, and front and rear coil springs in several colors.

Supporting parts keep the geometry honest as you go up: adjustable upper and lower control arms, adjustable panhard (track bar) kits, sway bar relocation brackets and front diff drop kits. For older iron, there's a complete suspension kit for the Toyota Land Cruiser 60 Series (FJ60/FJ62/HJ60/HJ61, 1980–1990).

How to choose

On the Bronco, door count decides almost everything. Springs and struts differ between the 2-door and 4-door, so the wrong body style simply won't ride right.

• Order parts that match your Bronco's door count.
• MRR shocks adjust high-speed compression (10 stages), low-speed compression (20) and rebound (15) independently, so one shock can be set for highway or rocks.
• Going taller? Budget for the diff drop, sway bar relocation, adjustable panhard and control arms that keep geometry correct.

Dobinsons warranty

Dobinsons coil springs, leaf springs and shocks are covered for 2 years with unlimited miles, and most other parts for 1 year, all against non-cosmetic manufacturing faults. Spring coverage includes breakage and sag beyond set limits (10mm height loss for coils, 12mm camber loss for leafs). Claims must be made in writing within the warranty window with proof of purchase.
