This is a 33mm solid rear sway bar for the 200 Series Land Cruiser, with a higher rate than stock for better roll control on a loaded truck. The idea is to tame body roll when you are carrying gear or towing without hurting comfort.
Dobinsons points out that the usual objection to a bigger sway bar is lost articulation. If the bar is designed correctly and the links are lengthened, the loss is minimal or none. The vendor lists the benefits as better stability to offset a changed center of gravity, longer tire life, and less roll under load and tow, without costing comfort.
The bar is vehicle-specific and built from high-quality materials, and the vendor frames it as a good match for 4WDs that carry weight or tow, especially if the vehicle has been modified.
