Ram 1500 Accessories: Best Upgrades by Category and Generation
Most Ram 1500 accessories are built for one specific body. A part for the 2019-and-newer truck usually will not fit a Ram 1500 Classic, and the TRX and RHO often need their own bumpers and suspension parts. This hub guide sorts Ram 1500 accessories by category and by generation, with a few parts NVMOS carries in each and links to the deeper guides.
Short answer: First confirm whether you have a 2009–2018 or Classic-body Ram 1500, a 2019-and-newer 5th gen, or a TRX or RHO. Then pick by category: LED headlights and fogs for lighting, a bolt-on bumper for armor, a leveling or lift kit for stance (see our Ram 1500 lift kit guide), and tie-downs or Molle panels for the bed. Read the fitment notes on every part, since cab, trim, engine and factory options can rule a part out.
Ram 1500 accessories by generation
Model year alone is not enough on a Ram 1500. Ram kept building the older body as the Ram 1500 Classic from 2019 through 2024, so a 2019–2024 truck can be either body. Check your window sticker or ask your dealer with the VIN.
2009–2018 Ram 1500 and Ram 1500 Classic
The Classic carries over the 4th gen body, but listings do not always cover both, and several lights and bumpers split at 2013. Morimoto, for example, sells separate fog lights for 2009–2012 and 2013–2018 trucks, and the Fishbone Offroad and Addictive Desert Designs front bumpers we carry start at 2013. Many listings for this body stop at 2018, so if you have a 2019–2024 Classic, confirm the listing names it. For lighting, Morimoto lists its Dodge Ram 1500 XB Evo LED Headlights (09-18) for 2009–2018 trucks and separate XB Evo headlights for the 2019–2024 Classic.
2019 and newer Ram 1500 (5th gen, DT)
This is where most of the catalog sits. Watch for trim, cab and engine notes: some bumpers exclude the Rebel and diesel trucks, the Goose Gear seat delete excludes eTorque and other hybrid trucks with batteries behind the rear seats, and many emblem and interior trim parts fit only the 2025–2026 trucks.
Ram TRX and Ram RHO
Most TRX parts we carry are listed for 2021–2024 and most RHO parts for 2025–2026. Keep TRX-only and RHO-only parts apart. Some parts cover both, like the ADD RAM 1500 TRX and RHO Stealth Fighter Chase Rack and the ICON TRX/RHO Rear 2.5 in Hydraulic Bump Stop Kit, which ICON lists for the 2021–2024 TRX and 2025–2026 RHO. Others are one or the other, like the ADD 2025-2026 Ram RHO Stealth Fighter Front Bumper.
Only some first-column parts also name the 2019–2024 Classic. If a listing says 2019–2024 without naming the body, confirm on the product page.

Lighting: headlights, fog lights and ditch lights

- Morimoto Ram 1500 (19-24) XB LED Headlights: Bi-LED projectors with sequential LED daytime running lights and turn signals for the 2019–2024 Ram 1500. Morimoto says they plug into the Mopar multi-pin OEM input with no modifications and meet SAE, DOT and FMVSS108. Left-hand drive traffic pattern only.
- Morimoto Ram 1500 Classic (19-24) XB Evo LED Headlights: for the 2019–2024 Classic, sold as a pair. They have a heated lens, white or amber DRLs set with plug-in keys, and ship with harnesses, fuse taps and resistor mounts.
- Morimoto Ram 1500 (19-24) 4Banger LED Fog Lights: replaces the factory fog housings on 2019–2024 trucks with no adapter kits. Choose the NCS Wide Beam, which Morimoto calls its street-legal option, or the HXB Wide Beam for more off-road output, in white or yellow.
The XB LED and 4Banger listings do not name the body, and Morimoto sells Classic versions separately, so confirm yours on the product page.
For ditch lights, Morimoto makes A-pillar kits for both the 2009–2018 and 2019–2024 trucks, and ORACLE sells mirror-mount ditch lights for the 2019–2026 Ram 1500 DT that need no A-pillar drilling. Check your state rules before running auxiliary lights on the road.
Bumpers, armor and recovery points
A steel bumper adds light mounts, recovery points and often a winch mount. Every bumper below is listed for one body only.
- DV8 2019-2025 Ram 1500 Spec Series Front Bumper: a bolt-on bumper with a recessed 20-inch light bar mount, 1-inch thick D-ring shackle mounts and a hidden winch mount. DV8 says it does not fit diesel trucks, the Rebel or the 2019 Classic, and asks 2025 owners to contact customer service to verify fit.
- Fishbone Offroad Front Bumper for 2013 & Up Dodge Ram FB22397: for the 2013-and-newer Ram 1500 Classic body. It is 1/8-inch steel with 1/4-inch reinforcements, has 3/4-inch D-ring mounts and a 10 x 4.5-inch winch pattern, and Fishbone says it works with all OE sensors. Fender liner trimming is required.
- ADD 2021-2024 RAM 1500 TRX Stealth Fighter Front Bumper: TRX only. A radiused plate steel design with a mount for a 40-inch curved light bar or up to 10 cube lights. ADD says it keeps the OEM marker lights and works on sensor and non-sensor trucks.
For recovery, the bumper is usually your mounting point, so check its D-ring and winch specs before buying shackles or a winch. Browse recovery points and D-rings and recovery gear.
Suspension, leveling and lift kits

- ReadyLIFT 2 in Pre-Load Spacer Front Leveling Kit, Ram 1500 2WD/4WD 2019-2026: billet aluminum spacers for the new body only, not the Classic. ReadyLIFT says it rides firmer than factory, needs a spring compressor to install and allows a 285/65-20 tire on a 20x9 +18 wheel.
- Fishbone Offroad Leveling Kit for 2009-2020 Dodge Ram 1500: a 2-inch powder-coated steel kit sold as a pair. The description lists 2009–2020 4WD trucks with any transmission and cab but does not name the body for 2019–2020, so confirm on the product page.
- ReadyLIFT 1.5 in Pre-Load Spacer Front Leveling Kit, Ram 1500 TRX: 2021–2026 TRX only. It does not fit the RHO or TRX trucks with aftermarket coilovers. ReadyLIFT lists a 35x12.50 on a 20x9 +18 wheel.
Plan on an alignment and headlight aim check after any level or lift, and ask your dealer about warranty questions before you install.
Bed, rack and storage

- Charvonia Design Rail Tie-Down Anchors for RAM 1500 (Pair): billet 6061-T6 aluminum anchors that replace the plastic rail cleats on 2009–2026 Ram 1500s with OEM Trail Rails. Charvonia says they sit flush with the top of the rails and slide along the rail to reposition.
- ADD 2019-2025 Ram 1500, TRX and 2025-2026 RHO Bed Side Molle Panels: Molle panels profiled to the bed sides. ADD says they keep access to the OEM electrical panel box and the factory tie-downs.
- KC HiLiTES Platform One Roof Rack for 2009-2018 RAM 1500: built for the 2009–2018 Crew Cab. Install means drilling the roof for sealed Rivnut inserts, and KC recommends professional installation. Lights are not included, and your truck’s own roof load limit applies.
Interior upgrades
Most interior parts we carry are for the 2019-and-newer truck.
- Goose Gear RAM 1500 5th Gen Crew Cab Second Row Seat Delete Plate System: replaces the rear seats with a flat plate and back wall, with hatches to the storage below. It is listed for gas trucks only, not eTorque or other hybrids with batteries behind the rear seats, and comes as 40% and 60% sides.
- Tackform TRAXX Slim Track Dash Bracket, 2019+ RAM 1500 (Excluding Classic): a CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminum dash mount for 2019–2026 trucks. Tackform says it uses 3M tape and the factory screw holes, with no drilling, and holds up to four devices.
- Tufskinz Center Console Foam Inserts, 2025-2026 Ram 1500: peel-and-stick foam cut to the console to cut rattles and stop small gear from sliding.
Emblems and letter inserts
Tufskinz overlays stick on over the factory lettering with 3M adhesive, with no drilling. Most of what we carry is cut for the 2025–2026 Ram 1500 only. Our truck emblems, badges and letter inserts guide explains overlays versus full replacements.
- Tufskinz Tailgate Letter Overlays, 2025-2026 Ram 1500: a 3-piece domed kit over the RAM tailgate letters, in 28 finishes. Tufskinz puts the install at about 10 minutes.
- Tufskinz Grille Letter Overlays, 2025-2026 Ram 1500/2500/3500: a 3-piece kit for the grille lettering. Tufskinz says it does not fit the RHO trim.
- Tufskinz Hood Letter Overlays, 2025-2026 Ram 1500: domed overlays for the raised hood letters, in 25 finishes.

Frequently asked questions
Do 2019 and newer Ram 1500 accessories fit the Ram 1500 Classic?
Usually not. The Classic is the 2009–2018 body sold alongside the new truck from 2019 to 2024, and most parts are listed for one body or the other. ReadyLIFT says its 2-inch pre-load leveling kit is not for the Classic body, and DV8 lists its Spec Series front bumper as not compatible with the 2019 Classic. Match the body style, not just the model year.
How do I tell if my Ram 1500 is a Classic?
Check the build sheet or window sticker, or ask your dealer with your VIN. Visually, the Classic carries over the 2009–2018 cab and grille design. If you have a 2019–2024 truck and are not sure which body it is, confirm before you order.
Do regular Ram 1500 parts fit the TRX or RHO?
Often not. The TRX and RHO have wider bodies and their own front suspension, so bumpers, leveling kits and some lighting kits are listed separately for them. The ReadyLIFT 1.5-inch pre-load leveling kit is listed for the 2021–2026 TRX only and does not fit the RHO, so check each part for the exact truck.
Will an aftermarket front bumper keep my parking sensors?
It depends on the bumper. Fishbone Offroad says its Classic-body front bumper works with all OE sensors, and Addictive Desert Designs says its TRX Stealth Fighter front bumper works with both sensor and non-sensor trucks. Check the listing for your bumper before you order.
Are the Morimoto Ram 1500 LED headlights plug and play?
Morimoto says its XB LED headlights for the 2019–2024 Ram 1500 plug into the Mopar multi-pin OEM connector with no modifications, and that they meet SAE, DOT and FMVSS108 standards. They come in a left-hand drive traffic pattern only. The Classic XB Evo headlights ship with harnesses, fuse taps and resistor mounts.
Will 2025–2026 Ram emblem overlays fit my 2019–2024 Ram 1500?
Not as listed. The Tufskinz tailgate, grille and hood letter overlays are cut for the 2025–2026 Ram 1500 lettering. Tufskinz also says its grille letter overlays do not fit the RHO. The Tufskinz door sill protection film is the exception, listed for 2019–2026 trucks.
What should I add first to a Ram 1500?
Start with what you use the truck for. For night driving, look at LED headlights and fog lights first. For tires and stance, start with a leveling kit. For work, bed tie-downs and Molle panels come first. Our lift kit guide covers suspension in depth.
