The TAC kinetic rope is a 9000 kg (19800 lb) recovery line in Olive Drab and black. It uses stored kinetic energy to get a stuck vehicle moving, which puts less stress on chassis and driveline than a static strap would. Carbon Offroad says it stretches up to 30 percent under load.
It is 19 mm (3/4 in) thick and 9 m (29 1/2 ft) long, a length that gives the recovery vehicle room to build speed. The Nylon66 fibers carry a urethane coating that seals out grit, sand and water and helps against UV and abrasion.
Fitment
Not vehicle-specific. The vendor describes the weight class as that of the Chevy Colorado, Nissan Frontier or Jeep Gladiator, which is a useful guide to the vehicle size it suits.
What's included
One Carbon Offroad Tactical Kinetic Recovery Rope (9000 kg) and one mesh storage bag.
