This is a heavy-duty kinetic rope for commercial trucks, buses and heavy machinery, not for pickups. It is 32 mm (1 1/4 in) x 9 m (29 1/2 ft) double-braided Nylon 66 with a 22000 kg (48400 lb) breaking strain.
It stretches up to 30 percent, which lets it absorb the energy from the towing vehicle and release it smoothly rather than twisting a frame. A urethane polymer coating seals out grit, water and oil and protects against UV, and the orange and blue high-vis construction helps spotters see the line in dust, fog or low light.
Fitment
Not vehicle-specific, but sized for large vehicles. For light trucks or SUVs, a lower-rated kinetic rope will behave better, since stretch depends on matching the rope to the load.
What's included
One Large Vehicle High-Vis Kinetic Recovery Rope and one mesh storage bag.
