Static tow straps put the full shock of a recovery into your frame. This rope is built to avoid that. It is double-braided Nylon66 (polyamide) in a core-and-sheath design, so it stretches progressively: the more load it takes, the more it stretches, and the pull stays controlled.
It is 9 m (29 1/2 ft) long and 24 mm (15/16 in) in diameter, with a load rating of over 12000 kg (26455 lb). The vendor lists stretch figures for reference: 10% at 1200 kg, 14% at 2400 kg and 19% at 3600 kg. Abrasion resistance is improved while the rope stays lightweight.
Fitment
Not vehicle-specific. With a 12-ton rating it is intended for larger vehicles than the 9000 kg rope. Pair it with rated shackles or connectors that match or exceed the rope.
What's included
One Carbon Offroad 12 Ton x 9 Metre Kinetic Recovery Rope. Shackles are not included.
