About Synergy

Synergy Manufacturing works out of San Luis Obispo on California's Central Coast and has been in the suspension business since 2005. It sells off-road aftermarket parts in four broad groups: suspension systems and components, heavy-duty steering, axle upgrades, and a smaller set of performance and appearance pieces. Synergy says its components are predominantly made in the USA.

The brand's reputation rests on the steering side. Its heavy-duty drag links and tie rods use thick-wall DOM tubing, forged ends and pinch-bolt adjusters in place of jam nuts, which is the kind of part that matters on a solid-axle Jeep or a heavy diesel Ram running big tires. Synergy keeps its focus narrow, on Jeeps, three-quarter and one-ton Rams and Super Duty Fords, plus the new Bronco.

What we carry from Synergy

We carry Synergy heavy-duty steering parts, including drag links and tie rods, along with suspension systems and components and axle upgrades. On the Jeep side that covers the Wrangler from YJ through JK and JL and the JT Gladiator. On the truck side it covers Ram 2500 and 3500 from 1994 on and Ford Super Duty F-250 and F-350, plus the 2021-and-newer Ford Bronco. Synergy also builds for Ram 4500/5500 and heavier Super Duty chassis cabs, which fall outside what we stock.

How to choose

Check your steering layout first: Some trucks changed steering design mid-year; Synergy flags, for example, that 2013 Ram 3500s came with either T-style or crossover steering. Look at your linkage before you order, since Synergy does not offer exchanges.

Know your lift height: Synergy lists the lift range each steering part is built for. Its 2003-2013 Ram drag link, for instance, works from stock to 4 inches and needs a drop pitman arm above that.

Ends and joints are wear parts: Tie rod ends, bushings, bearings and dust boots wear with use and are not covered by Synergy's warranty, and ball joint sets carry 12 months. Budget for them as maintenance, not lifetime parts.

Call before you order: Synergy itself recommends confirming part numbers and fitment before buying because it does not do exchanges. We are happy to check fitment against your VIN or a photo of your setup.

Install by the book: Coverage depends on installing per Synergy's instructions without alteration, so follow the manual and keep your receipt and a few photos of the finished install.

Lead times & shipping

NVMOS dropships Synergy orders from the brand or its stocking dealers. In-stock parts usually leave in 1-3 business days, and parts stocked at the manufacturer take about 1-2 weeks. Steering links and most components ship by parcel carrier; larger suspension systems may come in several boxes or ship freight by truck. We send tracking as soon as it is issued.

Synergy warranty

Synergy gives its hard parts a limited lifetime warranty against defects in materials and workmanship, but only for the original buyer, only on the vehicle the parts were first installed on, and only for parts bought from Synergy or an authorized dealer. Heavy-duty front ball joint sets carry 12 months, finishes are not guaranteed, and wear items such as bushings, bump stops, bearings, tie rod ends and dust boots are excluded. The remedy is replacement with an equal or better part, never a refund, and Synergy will not pay installation, alignment, labor or shipping. Claims need photos of the installed parts, video of the failing joint or end, the mileage and the original receipt, and a Synergy representative has to inspect the part before anything ships. FOX shocks and stabilizers on most Synergy kits are warrantied by FOX directly. Read our Synergy warranty summary.

What does the Synergy warranty cover?

Hard parts carry a limited lifetime warranty against defects in materials and workmanship for the original buyer, on the original vehicle. Heavy-duty front ball joint sets are covered for 12 months.

Are tie rod ends and bushings covered?

No. Synergy treats bushings, bump stops, bearings, tie rod ends and dust boots as wear items that are not eligible for warranty.

Does the Synergy warranty transfer?

No. It applies only to the original purchaser and only while the parts stay on the vehicle they were first installed on.

What do I need to file a Synergy claim?

Photos of the installed parts, video of the failing component, the mileage on the part and a copy of the original receipt. Synergy states plainly that without proof there is no warranty.

Who handles FOX shocks in a Synergy kit?

Synergy handles RAM 2500 front and rear shocks and RAM 3500 front shocks. Other FOX shock and stabilizer claims go to FOX directly.

Can I exchange a Synergy part if I ordered the wrong one?

Synergy does not offer exchanges, so confirm fitment before ordering. Contact us first and we will check it with you.

Are Synergy parts made in the USA?
