Fabtech FAQs
How long is the Fabtech warranty?
Suspension components carry a limited lifetime warranty for the original buyer. Wear items, finish and Dirt Logic shocks are 1 year, and Performance and Stealth shocks are 3 years against leaks.
What is the Fabtech Five Sixty warranty?
A free powertrain warranty for vehicles with a qualifying Fabtech suspension. It covers listed engine, transmission, transfer case, driveshaft and axle parts for 5 years or 60,000 miles, whichever comes first, once you register online and Fabtech approves it.
Does Five Sixty start automatically?
No. You have to register after installation, and coverage starts on the date Fabtech acknowledges the registration. Damage before that date is not covered.
Can I use Fabtech kits with another brand's shocks?
You can, but Fabtech says its warranty is void if its parts are combined with or replaced by other aftermarket suspension products.
Who pays labor on a Fabtech warranty claim?
The owner. Fabtech repairs or replaces the part and excludes removal, installation and freight.
Will a Fabtech lift void my factory warranty?
It can. Fabtech advises checking with your dealer before installing, which is part of why it offers the Five Sixty program.
Do I need approval before removing a failed part?
Yes. Fabtech requires approval before any action is taken, including removing the part, so call before you pull anything off.
