Jeep Gladiator Accessories Guide: JT Parts by Category
The Jeep Gladiator JT is a Wrangler up front and a mid-size truck out back, and that split is the key to shopping for it. Some parts are shared with the Wrangler JL, many are made only for the Gladiator, and a few depend on trim, engine or model year. This hub walks through each accessory category NVMOS carries for the 2020 and newer Gladiator, with one to three products per category and links to the deeper guides when you are ready to compare.
Short answer: Buy parts whose listing names the Gladiator JT, then check three things: trim (Rubicon and Mojave often have their own notes), engine (the 3.0L EcoDiesel often needs its own skids and lift kits), and model year (several interior mounts split at 2024). A common order is armor and a modest lift first, then lighting, bed storage and tie-downs.
Gladiator model years and trims: what changes fitment
The Gladiator has one generation so far, the JT, sold from the 2020 model year on. There is no second generation to sort out, but the listings in our catalog still split by trim, engine and year. The table below pulls those splits from the product pages themselves.
| Truck | What it affects | Example from our listings |
|---|---|---|
| All 2020+ Gladiator JT | Most bumpers, sliders, bed racks and lighting kits | DV8 lists its MTO rear bumper and SRGL-02 sliders for 2020-2026 JT |
| Rubicon | Rear bumper installs and lift tire sizes | Fishbone says the Mako rear bumper requires removing the Rubicon rear rocker step |
| Mojave | Lift kits and ditch light brackets | ReadyLIFT's 4 inch Terrain Flex Max is Mojave Edition only; KC sells a dedicated 392/Mojave ditch bracket |
| 3.0L EcoDiesel | Lift kits and skid plates | Clayton sells separate DIESEL kits, many listed for 2021-2023; RCI's Skidplate Package does not fit the 3.0 EcoDiesel |
| 2024 and newer | Dash and A-pillar mounts, grille lighting | Tackform and CMM sell separate 2018-2023 and 2024+ mounts; ORACLE has a 2024+ pre-runner grille kit |
| 2026 | Some bed-rail mounted parts | DV8 says its stand-up spare tire mount needs the factory Trail Rails on 2026 trucks (its title still says 2020-2025, so confirm) |
Newer trims show up in some vendor fitment tables too. KC HiLiTES, for example, lists the 2024 Mojave X, Rubicon X and NightHawk separately on one of its JL/JT kits. There is no 392 Gladiator; KC sells some kits that cover both the Wrangler 392 and the Gladiator Mojave. When a title and description disagree on years, go with the narrower range and confirm on the product page.
Armor, bumpers and recovery
Front and rear bumpers
Front bumpers are where the Gladiator shares the most with the Wrangler. The DV8 FS-1 Series Stubby Front Bumper fits the Wrangler JK, JL and Gladiator JT, with a recessed winch tray behind a tubular bull bar and an inset mount for a 20-inch light bar. Rear bumpers are Gladiator-only. The DV8 MTO Series Rear Bumper extends 2.5 inches past the rear of the truck, per DV8, keeps the OEM backup sensors working and has mounts for two 3-inch pods. The Fishbone Offroad Mako Rear Bumper keeps the factory 2-inch receiver, plate lights and trailer plug; Fishbone notes extra Mopar parts for sensor and LED-package trucks.
Rock sliders
The Gladiator's long wheelbase puts the rockers right where ledges hit, so sliders are a common first buy. The DV8 Rock Sliders with Step use 3/16-inch steel and .160-wall tubing, bolt to factory mounts and have a flat step area on top. The RCI Rock Sliders use a 2 inch square main tube and come in 5, 20 or 45 degree angles; RCI says one side can support the truck on a Hi-Lift, and they are made to order. Our rock sliders buying guide covers tube, angle and step trade-offs.
Skid plates
The M.O.R.E. Front Skid Plate replaces the 16 gauge factory shield under the sway bar disconnect motor with 3/16 inch steel and bolts on with no drilling. For broader coverage, the RCI Skidplate Package combines engine/transmission and transfer case plates in steel or aluminum, but RCI excludes the 3.0 EcoDiesel. Diesel owners should look at the M.O.R.E. plates titled for the 3.0L.
Recovery points
Most Gladiator recovery points come with the bumper. DV8 builds 1-inch thick D-ring mounts for 3/4-inch shackles into both the FS-1 and MTO bumpers, and the Mako ships with two D-rings. If you run Fishbone's Barracuda front bumper, the Fishbone Offroad Barracuda D-ring Mount Set adds D-ring mounts and D-rings, and it requires that bumper. For getting unstuck without a winch, see our traction boards guide.
Lift kits and leveling kits
Gladiator suspension listings are some of the most trim-specific in the catalog. The Clayton Off Road Jeep Gladiator 1.5" Leveling Kit lifts the front with new coils, an adjustable track bar, adjustable upper control arms and sway bar links. Clayton says Rubicon, EcoDiesel and Mojave trucks should expect about 2 inches of front lift, and Sport owners may want a rear spacer. The ICON 2020-Up Jeep Gladiator 2.5" Lift Stage 2 Suspension System is listed by ICON at 2.5 inches of lift with the rear raised 1.5 inches, using dual rate front and triple rate rear coils and 2.0 Aluminum Series shocks. Mojave owners have the ReadyLIFT JT Gladiator Mojave Edition 4" Terrain Flex Max, which keeps the factory FOX shocks and, per ReadyLIFT, clears 37 inch tires on a 10 inch wide, 0 offset wheel.
Note the year ranges: some ICON Gladiator kits are listed 2020-2023 while others say 2020-Up, and many Clayton diesel kits are listed 2021-2023 while its diesel long-arm kits say 2020+. If you are deciding between leveling and a full lift, read leveling kit vs lift kit and wheel offset and backspacing explained before you pick tires.
Lighting
Ditch lights
A-pillar ditch lights are the classic Gladiator lighting add-on. The Morimoto 2Banger LED Ditch Light System uses laser-cut stainless brackets made for the JT, with your choice of white or yellow and flood, spot, combo or wide beams. Mojave owners need a different bracket: the KC HiLiTES Ditch Light Kit for Gladiator Mojave JT uses KC part 7334 for the 2020-2024 Mojave with no drilling. For beam choice, see ditch lights: spot vs flood and the LED pod lights buying guide.
Tail lights and fog lights
The Morimoto XB LED Low Profile Tail Lights (Red) keep the factory outward sensor position, so Morimoto says blind spot radar keeps working, and they are listed as DOT/SAE compliant. Gladiator fog light listings split by bumper and trim (Baja Designs, for example, titles one fog pocket kit for the Rubicon bumper, and ORACLE sells a separate SPORT fog light), so match the listing to your bumper; yellow vs white fog lights helps with color.
Bed racks, tie-downs and tire carriers
Bed racks and chase racks
The 5 foot bed is short, so many owners build up. The Ruff Rax Modular Bed Rack for Jeep Gladiator JT 5 ft Bed includes four MOLLE panels and mounts with clamps or on a Roll N Lock tonneau track; Ruff Rax lists it at 1,300 lb static and 900 lb dynamic. The DV8 Gladiator JT Chase Rack puts a 50-inch light bar mount behind the cab, where DV8 says wind noise is less of an issue than on the windshield. For floor-level organization, the Goose Gear Jeep Gladiator Bed Plate System gives you a base for modules and fridge slides, and Goose Gear notes it requires drilling 7 pre-located holes. More ideas are in our truck bed storage and organization guide.
Tie-downs
Charvonia aims its billet hardware at owners who want something stronger than the factory plastic cleats for heavy loads such as dirt bikes. The Charvonia Design Complete Billet Tie-Down System bundles a pair of billet D-rings and two pairs of rail tie-downs, with a center slot that Charvonia says keeps a ratchet strap seated. If you only need rail anchors, the Charvonia Rail Tie-Down Anchors are machined 6061-T6 aluminum for trucks with OEM Trail Rails. See bed tie-downs vs rail tie-downs.
Tire carriers
DV8 describes the factory spare spot under the bed as cramped, and a larger spare can be hard to fit there. The DV8 Adjustable In-Bed Spare Tire Carrier holds up to a 42-inch tire upright or flat above the bed, but DV8 says it does not fit trucks with bed covers. The DV8 Stand Up Spare Tire Mount mounts to the factory bed rails; its title says 2020-2025 while the description says 2020-2026, so confirm your year.
Interior and storage
The Goose Gear Gladiator Second Row Seat Delete Plate System replaces the 60% passenger or 40% driver rear seat (or both) with a bolt-in platform and locking storage underneath, using factory anchor points with no drilling. Our Goose Gear seat delete guide goes deeper. For device mounting, the Tackform LINK Console Screw Mount with Qi2/MagSafe Charging and Cooling Phone Mount installs into the OEM console location on 2018-2026 JL and JT. The CMM Offroad Grab Bar is a full replacement grab bar listed for 2018-2023 trucks, so it is not listed for 2024 and newer Gladiators.

Frequently asked questions
Do Jeep Wrangler JL parts fit the Gladiator?
Some do and some do not. Front-end parts such as the DV8 FS-1 front bumper, many headlights and fog lights, and the ICON Ultimate Front End Kits (2020-2023 Gladiator only) are listed for both the Wrangler JL and the Gladiator JT. Rear bumpers, rock sliders, bed racks, tie-downs and tire carriers are Gladiator-specific because the JT has a longer wheelbase and a bed. Only buy a Wrangler part for your Gladiator if the listing names the Gladiator JT.
Why do some listings say 2019 Gladiator?
The Gladiator JT was revealed in late 2018 and sold as a 2020 model, so there is no 2019 model-year truck. A few vendors, including Goose Gear, Tufskinz and AlphaRex, list 2019 in their titles. Treat those parts as fitting the 2020 and newer JT and confirm on the product page.
Do I need a different lift kit for a Gladiator Mojave?
Sometimes. ReadyLIFT sells a 4 inch Terrain Flex Max kit for the 2020-2026 Gladiator Mojave Edition only, built to keep the factory FOX 2.5 inch shocks. Clayton Off Road's fitment notes give different tire sizes for Rubicon and Mojave trucks than for Overland and Willys trucks. Check the trim notes on any lift before you order.
What fits the EcoDiesel Gladiator?
Look for listings that name the 3.0L diesel. Clayton Off Road sells DIESEL versions of its lift kits, many listed for the 2021-2023 Gladiator, and M.O.R.E. makes oil pan, transmission and transfer case skid plates for the 3.0L diesel. RCI says its Skidplate Package does not fit the 3.0 EcoDiesel.
Will a bed rack or in-bed tire carrier work with my tonneau cover?
It depends on the part. The Ruff Rax bed rack comes in an OEM-mount version that is not built for a bed cover and a version that rides on a Roll N Lock tonneau track, so match the option to your truck. DV8 says its adjustable in-bed spare tire carrier does not fit trucks with bed covers.
Do I need an alignment after lifting or leveling my Gladiator?
Plan on one. Any change in ride height changes the front-end geometry, and Clayton Off Road notes that some lifted trucks cannot reach its target caster without upgraded front lower control arms. Have a shop check the alignment after the install and again after the springs settle.
Are Gladiator ditch lights street legal?
Rules on auxiliary lights vary by state, and many states limit when forward-facing off-road lights can be on. Treat A-pillar ditch lights as off-road lighting unless your state says otherwise, and check your local rules before you wire them to run with your headlights.
Which Gladiator accessories should I buy first?
Start with what your use demands. Trail trucks usually start with rock sliders, a skid plate and a modest lift, overland trucks with a bed rack and tie-downs, and daily drivers with lighting and interior mounts. Buy in an order that avoids doing work twice, such as picking a bumper before you add a winch or ditch lights.
