On a 2017-2022 Super Duty, the common first mods are TufSkinz hood and tailgate letter inserts, Morimoto XB headlights and an X3B third brake light, a 2.5 in. leveling kit and a steel bumper. On a 2023+ truck, the hood, tailgate and badge inserts change, Morimoto offers a DRL grille, fog lights, ditch lights and an X3B third brake light, and ADD makes front bumpers built for the new front end. Some parts, like the 6.7 Power Stroke badge, the Ruff Rax bed rack and Westin Pro-e running boards, span both.
Which Super Duty generation do I have?
For accessory shopping, the F-250 and F-350 split into a few ranges. Badges and lights are where the year matters most, because Ford changed the lettering, grille and lights between them.

Super Duty emblems, badges and letter inserts
TufSkinz makes more Super Duty accent pieces than any other brand we carry. Hood and tailgate letters
- Hood Letter Inserts, 2017-2022: 10 pieces, 40 finishes per TufSkinz, about 10 minutes to install.
- Hood Letter Inserts, 2023-2026: 10 pieces, 39 finishes, most of them OE color matches.
- Tailgate Letter Overlays, 2020-2022: 10 pieces in 40 finishes. 2017-2019 trucks use a separate tailgate kit.

7.3 Godzilla and 6.7 Power Stroke badges
The engine callout badges are the other big seller. The 7.3L Godzilla Badge fits 2020-2026 Super Duty trucks with the 7.3L badge and comes in 21 finishes. The 6.7 Power Stroke Badge fits 2011-2026 trucks across three generations, in eight logo styles including reflective and Tremor options. Both are one-piece domed overlays TufSkinz lists at about five minutes to install. On 2023-2026 trucks, the Running Board Letters fill the factory step lettering.

Super Duty lighting upgrades
LED headlights (2017-2022)
Morimoto makes separate headlights for the 2017-2019 and 2020-2022 trucks because the front ends differ. The XB Evo for 2020-2022 uses four Bi-LED projectors per side, a heated lens Morimoto says minimizes frost, and signal swap keys to run white or amber DRLs; Morimoto lists it as DOT compliant with a five-year warranty. Morimoto also lists an XB Evo for 2017-2019. The XB Hybrid for 2020-2022 is Morimoto's value option, with two LED projectors per side instead of four. Grille, fog lights and DRLs (2023+)
For the 2023-2027 Super Duty, Morimoto's XBG LED DRL Grille adds integrated daytime running lights that dim at night off the truck's headlight signals, and the markers can be set white or amber. It installs on the stock mounts with factory wiring. The 4Banger LED fog light kit is bolt-on and plug-and-play, with an NCS Wide Beam pod Morimoto says is third-party verified to SAE fog standards, or a brighter HXB pod.
Third brake lights
The Morimoto X3B replaces the factory third brake light with four red brake optics and a clear bed light, using the factory mounts and harness. It comes in versions for 2017-2019, 2020-2022 and 2023-2027, and Morimoto lists each as DOT/SAE compliant. Ditch lights and knuckle lights
For 2023+ trucks, the ADD Ditch Light Brackets bolt to the hood hinges near the A-pillars and take pods from 3-inch cubes up to 6 inches; the wipers and cowl come off for the install. Leveling kits for the F-250 and F-350
Super Duty trucks have a factory rake, and a 2 to 2.5 in. front level is a common mod. Options we carry:
- S&B Adjustable Coil Levelers: 0 to 2.5 in. of adjustment for 2005+ Super Duty 4x4 trucks, replacing the lower spring mount.

Running boards, bed racks and bed storage
The Westin Pro-e Electric Running Boards fit the 2017-2026 Super Duty Crew Cab. They extend when a door opens, have LED step lighting, and Westin rates them at 300 lb per side.
For the bed, the Ruff Rax Modular Bed Rack fits the 6.8 ft bed on 2017-2027 trucks, includes four MOLLE panels, and is rated 900 lb static and 1,300 lb dynamic per Ruff Rax. Do F-250 and F-350 accessories interchange?
Usually, yes, within the same generation. Most of the accessories we carry, including TufSkinz inserts, Morimoto lights, bumpers and the Ruff Rax bed rack, are listed for both the F-250 and F-350. The year range matters more than the model, so match your generation first and check the product page for cab, bed and trim notes.
Do TufSkinz letter inserts damage the factory lettering?
No. TufSkinz inserts and overlays are peel-and-stick with 3M automotive adhesive and sit in or over the factory letters with no drilling or cutting, so the original lettering stays underneath. Install time is about 5 to 15 minutes depending on the kit.
Which tailgate letters fit a 2023 Super Duty?
It depends on trim. TufSkinz makes one 2023-2026 tailgate kit for XL, XLT, STX, Tremor and Lariat trucks and a separate kit for King Ranch, Platinum and Limited, because the factory tailgate script is different. There are also separate Platinum kits for 2025-2026.
Are Morimoto Super Duty headlights street legal?
Morimoto lists its XB Evo headlights for the 2020-2022 Super Duty as DOT compliant, and its X3B third brake lights as DOT/SAE compliant. The optional Supercharged LED driver is listed for off-road use only. Check each product page for the specific version you are buying.
Do I need to drill to install knuckle lights on a Super Duty?
Yes. Both GateKeeper Super Duty knuckle pod mounts, for 2017-2022 and 2023+ trucks on the Dana 60 / Dana 50 front axle, require drilling. Hardware is included and the mounts are sold as a pair.
What size leveling kit is common for a Super Duty?
