Coachbuilder steering kits are built around serviceable joints instead of press-fit, throwaway tie rod ends — and this rebuild kit is how you cash that in. One unit includes a forged three-piece chromoly heim joint, upper and lower misalignment spacers, a rubber boot, and all necessary hardware, pre-greased and ready to install. When a joint finally loosens up after years of washboard and rock, you renew it on the truck instead of buying a whole new steering kit. It replaces the joints on Coachbuilder OE Replacement, Long Travel, 4.5", 5", 6", and 7" steering kits, plus BulletProof 6"–8" applications.

Which Coachbuilder steering kits does this rebuild?
It replaces the joints on Coachbuilder OE Replacement, Long Travel (including the Camburg/Total Chaos +2.50" and Dirt King +3.154" versions), 4.5", 5", 6", and 7" steering kits, plus BulletProof 6"–8" applications on Toyota Tundra platforms. If you are unsure which Coachbuilder kit your truck runs, check the arm length against your lift or long travel kit before ordering.
How many rebuild kits do I need?
Each kit is sold as one unit — one forged 3-piece chromoly heim joint with upper and lower misalignment spacers, a rubber boot, and all necessary hardware. Order one kit for each joint you plan to service; if you are refreshing the steering on both sides of the truck at once, that means two kits.
Does it come ready to install?
Yes — the unit arrives pre-greased and ready to install, with the boot, spacers, and hardware included, so there is no pressing, machining, or hunting for fasteners.
