How to make a Ruff Rax claim
- Have your proof of purchase or sales receipt ready; OVS asks for it with every warranty claim
- Photograph the defect and note your part number before you remove or ship anything
- Contact OVS Warranty Service by phone or email (below). OVS decides whether the item is defective and, if it is, repairs or replaces it with an equivalent product
- Freight deliveries (caps, racks, tents): inspect before you sign, note any damage on the bill of lading, and report damage or missing pieces within 24 hours

Ruff Rax Roof Rack for the Toyota Tacoma (2024-2027)
The fourth-gen Tacoma cab has new body lines, and this Ruff Rax roof rack is made to match them. It adds a low aluminum platform over the cab for a rooftop tent, light bar or long cargo, with T-slot channels on both sides for the mounts you already run.
Ruff Rax builds it from aluminum extrusions with T-slot channels on both faces, so most accessory mounts from Thule, Yakima and Rhino-Rack slide right in. It is finished in a dual-stage, OE-matched textured powder coat, uses stainless black hardware, and keeps the crossbars flush with the frame to keep gaps and wind noise down. Made for the Toyota Tacoma, model years 2024-2027. That covers the Tacoma 4th Gen (2024 - Present). Ruff Rax describes this rack as using the factory roof mount points, but its spec sheet also lists the mounting interface as drilling required. Call us before you order and we'll confirm what your roof needs.
Ruff Rax rates the install at beginner level with printed instructions, but assembly is required and two people make it much easier. It comes with 5 crossbars. The noise-reduction strip is sold separately, so add it if wind noise matters to you. Check your rooftop tent or cargo weight against the 330 lb static and 660 lb dynamic limits.
