OVS states that all Ruff Rax come with a limited lifetime warranty on its bed rack pages; roof rack and accessory pages don't restate a length, so confirm with us for those items. How to make a Ruff Rax claim
- Have your proof of purchase or sales receipt ready; OVS asks for it with every warranty claim
- Photograph the defect and note your part number before you remove or ship anything
- Contact OVS Warranty Service by phone or email (below). OVS decides whether the item is defective and, if it is, repairs or replaces it with an equivalent product
- Freight deliveries (caps, racks, tents): inspect before you sign, note any damage on the bill of lading, and report damage or missing pieces within 24 hours

Ruff Rax Rock Light in White or Amber
Most rack lighting points forward or up. These rock lights mount along the side of a roof rack or bed rack and throw light down around the vehicle, which is where you actually need it when you are pitching camp, digging through the bed or picking a line through a tight spot after dark.
They are made to pair with the Ruff Rax angled rock light brackets, so the install looks factory rather than zip-tied. The low profile keeps the light body tucked in against the rack, and they are made in the USA for off-road vibration and weather. More options live in our underhood and rock lights collection.

Choose a single white light, a single amber light or an eight-piece amber set for lighting both sides of a rack. Brackets are sold separately as Ruff Rax Side Light Angled Brackets. Are brackets included?
No. The lights are designed to mount on the Ruff Rax Side Light Angled Brackets, which are sold separately in pairs.
How many lights do I need?
That depends on rack length and how much of the perimeter you want lit. The eight-piece amber set is the easy way to cover both sides of a rack.
White or amber?
White gives the most usable light for camp chores. Amber is softer on the eyes and tends to draw fewer bugs.
Do these fit non-Ruff Rax racks?
They are built for Ruff Rax roof racks and bed racks. Call us and we can talk through other setups.
