The X3B replaces the stock third brake light on a Tacoma with a four-element red LED unit and a bed light in one housing. The brake optics use red polycarbonate and 3W LEDs in a 3D design, and the bed light is a rail-style white strip that Morimoto designed to avoid dark spots across the bed floor. The housing is piano black polycarbonate with a clear UV-resistant lens, and the unit is listed as DOT and SAE compliant.
Installation reuses the original mounting points and plugs into the stock wire harness, with an adapter harness in the box. An optional plug-and-play flasher module (X3B01) adds an F1-style rapid flash for the brake light if you want it. The X3B carries a five-year warranty.
Fitment
Toyota Tacoma Double Cab, 2016-2023. It is Double Cab only. If you have an Access Cab, Morimoto points you to the 2005-2015 model (X3B05) instead. It replaces Toyota part number 81570-04051. The housing was designed and tested on US-spec vehicles, so other markets may vary.

No. This one is for 2016-2023 Double Cab trucks only. Morimoto lists the X3B05 for the 2005-2015 model.
