Morimoto XB Evo Hybrid LED Headlights — Toyota Tacoma (2016–2023)
The XB Evo Hybrid drops the same dual Bi-LED projector hardware found in Morimoto's high-end XB Evo housings into a Tacoma-specific assembly that bolts straight into the factory mounting points. Output exceeds IIHS standards, and the wiring is plug-and-play across every sub-model in the 2016–2023 range.
Standard LED drivers keep peak intensity inside DOT (FMVSS108) limits so the lights are legal on public roads. An optional set of Supercharged drivers raises intensity roughly 30% for off-road use, at the cost of that compliance.

Are they street legal?
Yes, with the standard LED drivers. In standard form the output is DOT (FMVSS108) compliant in the LB2V and UB2 categories, and the side marker uses a DOT-compliant amber reflex reflector. The optional Supercharged drivers are non-compliant and are for off-road use only.
What do the Supercharged drivers change?
They raise light intensity by about 30% over the standard drivers, which makes them the brightest option for Tacoma owners chasing maximum output off-road. That extra intensity puts the headlights outside DOT compliance, so they are off-road use only.
How hard is the install?
It is a plug-and-play swap into the factory harness and mounting points across all sub-models in the 2016–2023 range, so no relay harness or wire splicing is required.
