Which splitter do I need — this IP65 version or the DTP04-2P version?
Choose this one when your two accessories terminate in sealed 2-pin IP65 connectors, which is common for exterior rooftop lighting. If your accessories use DTP-04-2P male plugs instead, pick our DTP-06-2S to 2-way DTP04-2P splitter.

Can both outputs run at full load at the same time?
Both outputs are live together, but only within the source circuit and fuse limits — the combined draw of both accessories must stay within the port's rating (15A total).

Does it include an inline fuse?
No. There's no inline fuse; upstream protection from the vehicle's DTP circuit is required. It is also not a voltage converter.

Is it safe to leave installed year-round?
Yes. The IP65 outputs are weatherproof when properly mated, and the splitter is fine for permanent installation as long as you add proper strain relief so the connectors aren't stressed.

Can I feed a longer run off one of the outputs?
