Suspension Hardware
Suspension Hardware FAQs
Do I need an alignment cam kit after lifting my truck?
Some lifts push alignment past the factory adjustment range, and a cam kit restores it. Whether you need one depends on your vehicle and the lift height. The lift kit instructions usually say, and an alignment shop can confirm.
What is a block kit?
A block kit sits between the axle and leaf spring to raise the rear of the vehicle. The size is measured in inches, and fitment depends on your truck's generation. Check the listing, and be aware that block kits affect ride and axle wrap.
Can I reuse my old bolts with new suspension parts?
In most cases it is better to use the hardware provided with the new part, or fresh fasteners of the right grade. Suspension bolts stretch and wear. Follow the torque specs from the manufacturer.
What does a caster cam kit do?
It adjusts the front axle or control arm angle so caster can be corrected after a lift. The listing shows the vehicle and the degree of correction. An alignment is still required.
Will hardware for a Super Duty fit an F-150?
Not unless the listing says so. Super Duty and F-150 are separate platforms. Match the model and year range, or call (920) 249-7744.
