Shock Mounts & Brackets
Relocating or reinforcing shock mounts is often the step that lets a lift kit or axle swap work the way it should. This collection includes shock brackets, high-clearance shock mounts, weld-on shock towers and lower shock relocation kits from Artec Industries, Clayton Off Road and ICON Vehicle Dynamics.
You'll find parts for Jeep Wrangler TJ/LJ and JK builds, Ford 8.8 axle swaps, and Toyota 4Runner, Tundra, Sequoia and Lexus GX platforms. Check each listing for weld-on vs. bolt-on installation.
Shock Mounts & Brackets FAQs
When do I need new shock mounts?
Usually after a lift, an axle swap or a change in suspension geometry, when the stock mounts will not hold the new shocks properly. A relocation kit also moves a shock to improve clearance.
Do shock mounts require welding?
Some do and some bolt in. Weld-on shock towers need fabrication, while bracket kits may be bolt-on, so read the listing.
Will these fit my Wrangler?
Wrangler listings cover TJ, LJ and JK builds. Match your generation and axle, and call (920) 249-7744 if unsure.
What is a hoop kit?
A hoop kit adds a hoop-style mount for the shock, such as the ICON 2007-21 Tundra S2 Hoop Kit. Check the vehicle and shock series.
Can I use these with non-ICON shocks?
Possibly, but check the mounting dimensions. Look at stem size, eye diameter and length.
