About Rock Krawler

Rock Krawler Suspension has been in business since 2001 and operates from Latham, New York, as a brand of The Pure Performance Group. It marks its products as made in the U.S.A. and is known mostly for Jeep suspension, with mid-arm and long-arm systems in a range of lift heights, plus its own joints, rod ends and RRD shocks, with the 2.625 inch coilovers built in house.

The brand's pitch is suspension that survives being used hard on a vehicle that also gets driven every day, and its warranty backs that up on the steel: control arms, track bars and brackets carry a lifetime guarantee against bending or breaking, abuse included. The trade-off is that these are involved systems. Setup details like pinion angle, caster, axle position and jam nut torque matter, and Rock Krawler expects the owner and installer to get them right and keep them right.

What we carry from Rock Krawler

Most of what we carry from Rock Krawler is complete lift systems and the parts that go into them: mid-arm and long-arm kits from 2 to 4.5 inches of lift in gas and diesel versions (including the T-Rex Pro Elite coilover systems with billet aluminum arms and in-house RRD 2.625 inch coilovers), control arms, track bars, steering upgrades, coil springs, 2.25 and 2.625 inch shocks and coilovers, and service parts like Pro X Krawler joints, Adventure joints, rod ends, flex joints and sway bar links. For NVMOS customers that means the Jeep Wrangler JK, JKU, JL and JLU and Gladiator JT, Ford Bronco, Ranger and F-250/F-350 Super Duty, Ram 2500/3500 and Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500/3500 HD from 2020 on.

How to choose

Mid arm or long arm: Mid-arm systems are simpler to install and cost less in parts and labor. Long-arm systems flatten out control arm angles for better ride and articulation at taller lifts, but they take more work and have a longer lead time.

Know the lead time before you book the shop: Rock Krawler publishes real build times: long-arm kits and 2.625 inch coilovers run 3-4 weeks and custom Rockzilla orders 4-8 weeks. Schedule the install after the parts are in hand.

Gas or diesel matters: Many systems come in separate gas and diesel versions because the front end weight differs. Pick the one that matches your engine, not just your body style.

Budget for setup and maintenance: Coverage depends on proper setup, and Rock Krawler can ask for proof of caster, pinion angle and axle position on spring claims. Keep jam nuts tight and recheck them after the first few trail runs.

Limit straps and bump stops are not optional: Shock damage from running without limit straps or with poorly set bump stops is excluded. If your build skips either, plan to add them.

Lead times & shipping

NVMOS dropships Rock Krawler orders directly from the brand, and Rock Krawler's own published lead times apply: service parts in about 3-5 business days, basic parts, short and mid-arm kits, steering and 2.25 inch shocks in 1-2 weeks, long-arm kits and 2.625 inch shocks and coilovers in 3-4 weeks, and Rockzilla or custom orders in 4-8 weeks. Small components go by parcel carrier; complete lift systems are large and heavy and may ship by truck freight, which can add a few days and may require someone to receive the delivery. We send tracking when the order leaves.

Rock Krawler warranty

Rock Krawler's warranty is tiered by part type and applies only to the original retail owner who bought new from an authorized seller. Hard parts such as control arms, track bars and mounting brackets get a lifetime guarantee that covers bending or breaking even from abuse, joint housings are covered for 10 years against breaking, and coil springs for 5 years against fracture. RRD racing shocks carry 1 year, twin-tube shocks 6 months, finish 1 year, and wear items such as bushings, hardware, brake lines, joints and skid plates 12 months against defects. Rock Krawler covers the part only; labor, shipping and downtime are the owner's cost, and racing, commercial or government use, improper installation or maintenance and use outside the U.S. are excluded.
