About Camburg Engineering

Camburg builds off-road suspension systems and components out of a racing program that it says spans more than 25 years. Its trucks race in the desert, and an Unlimited Spec truck from the program was the first in that class to take the overall win at the Mint 400. Camburg is part of the MagnaFlow Group, alongside MagnaFlow, KINETIK Trucks, Rumble Exhaust and Foose Performance, and its return address is in Huntington Beach, California.

The product range runs from bolt-on upper control arms to complete long travel kits, with the KINETIK name on its billet arms, bump stops and sway bar parts. Camburg uses 1.25 inch uniballs on many of its arms, which it says are stronger and allow more misalignment, and therefore more wheel travel, than a 1 inch joint. It CNC machines its uniball cups and spacers in-house.

What we carry from Camburg Engineering

Upper control arms make up the biggest share of our Camburg listings: 1.00, 1.25 and 1.50 inch Performance uniball arms, Performance X-Joint and X-Joint XL arms, and KINETIK V2 billet arms in several colors. They fit the Tacoma, 4Runner, FJ Cruiser, Tundra, Sequoia, Land Cruiser 200, F-150, Raptor, Bronco, 2019-2023 Ranger, Chevy and GMC 1500 and HD trucks, Colorado and ZR2, Ram 1500 and Titan. We also list Trail Series and Performance long travel kits with matching axle sets, bump stop mounts and brake lines for the Tacoma, 4Runner, Tundra, Land Cruiser 300, Bronco, Raptor and Chevy 1500, plus older Ranger and Tacoma kits. Around those sit KINETIK bump stops and slapper kits, preload spacers, coil springs for the 4Runner and GX, F-250 and F-350 performance systems and uniball radius arm kits, E-Series van radius arms, spring-under and shackle kits, rear drive plates and hub kits, lug kits, sway bar arms, and replacement uniball and hardware kits.

How to choose

Upper arms do not add lift: Camburg says its upper arms correct geometry, improve alignment and handling and allow more wheel travel, but lift comes from the springs or coilovers. Plan the lift and the arms together.

Uniball or X-Joint: Camburg sells arms with uniball pivots and arms with its X-Joint pivots, and the listing says which. Uniballs and heims are wear items under Camburg's warranty, so plan on inspecting and replacing them over time.

Long travel is a full package: A Camburg long travel kit uses longer lower arms, and Camburg says a stock-replacement upper arm cannot make up for that. Check whether the kit includes axles, brake lines and bump mounts, or order them separately.

Match the shocks to the kit: Several kits and mounts are built around a specific shock, such as Fox, King or Bilstein, and some kits ship without shocks. Read the listing so you know what is in the box.

Inspect after hard use: Camburg advises inspecting the suspension after off-roading and at routine service intervals. Catching a worn uniball or heim early is cheaper than chasing a failed one.

Lead times & shipping

NVMOS dropships Camburg orders from the brand or its distributor. In-stock parts usually leave in 1-3 business days, and items stocked at the manufacturer take about 1-2 weeks; custom-built or back-ordered parts can take longer, and we will tell you if that happens. Brake lines, bump stops, uniball kits and upper arms ship by parcel carrier. Long travel kits, axle sets and complete systems can be large and heavy and may ship by truck freight, which can add a few days and need someone home to receive them. We send tracking as soon as we have it.

Camburg Engineering warranty

Camburg warrants its suspension products against defects in material and workmanship for as long as the original purchaser owns the vehicle they were first installed on, and non-wearable Camburg-made items carry a limited lifetime warranty for the original owner under normal use and maintenance. Wearable items, including bushings, bump stops, rubber and plastic parts, bearings, tie rod ends, uniballs, heims and ball joints, are covered for 60 days from purchase against manufacturing defects only. Coatings and finish are covered for 12 months against structural corrosion and manufacturing defects, but scratches, fading and surface corrosion are not. Products Camburg sells from other manufacturers, such as shocks, carry that maker's warranty. Racing or competition use, commercial vehicles, improper installation, alterations, misuse and normal wear are excluded, as are labor, alignment, shipping, towing and rental costs. A claim needs the warranty certificate and proof of purchase, and the original part is returned and exchanged for a new one with the same part number. Read our Camburg Engineering warranty summary.

Camburg Engineering FAQs

How long is the Camburg warranty?

Camburg suspension products are covered against defects for as long as the original purchaser owns the vehicle they were installed on. Wear items get 60 days and coatings get 12 months.

Are uniballs and heim joints covered?

Only for 60 days from purchase, and only for manufacturing defects. Camburg classes uniballs, heims, ball joints, bushings, bearings, tie rod ends and bump stops as wear items.

Does the warranty cover racing?

No. Use in racing or competitive events is excluded from Camburg's warranty.

What if I sell the truck?

Coverage on suspension products runs for as long as the original purchaser owns the vehicle the part was first installed on, so it does not carry to a new owner.

Who covers the shocks in a Camburg kit?

Non-Camburg products, such as Fox, King or Bilstein shocks, are covered by their own manufacturer's warranty terms.

Will Camburg upper arms lift my truck?

No. Camburg says the arms improve geometry, alignment, handling and wheel travel, but lift comes from the springs or coilovers.

Does Camburg pay for labor or an alignment?

No. Labor, alignment, shipping, towing, rental vehicles and downtime are excluded. Camburg exchanges the defective part for a new one of the same part number.
