Toyota Tundra Accessories: A Category Guide for Every Generation

The Toyota Tundra has been around since 2000, and parts that fit one generation rarely fit the next. Cab style and bed length split the list further. This hub breaks Tundra accessories into categories, gives one to three places to start in each, and points you to our deeper guides.

Tundra accessories by generation, cab and bed

1st gen (2000–2006)

The first Tundra has a smaller catalog, but the basics are covered. The ReadyLIFT 2.5" Front Leveling Kit for the Tundra / Sequoia uses top-mount strut extensions and clears tires up to 32.5". Its title says 1999–2006 while the description lists the Tundra as 2000–2006, so confirm on the product page. Rago's 2000-2006 1st Gen Tundra & Sequoia Ditch Light Brackets bolt to the hood hinge bracket with no drilling, though the wiper cowling must be trimmed. The Goose Gear 1st Gen Double Cab Seat Delete Plate System is for the Double Cab only.

2nd gen (2007–2021) and the 2014 refresh

The 2014 refresh changed the front end, so headlights, fogs, front bumpers and grille emblems come in 2007–2013 and 2014–2021 versions. The Morimoto Tundra (07-13) and Sequoia (08-17) XB LED Headlights fit only the early trucks, and Rago sells separate 2007-2013 2nd Gen Tundra Ditch Light Brackets. Frame and suspension parts, such as Coachbuilder shackles, usually cover all of 2007–2021.

3rd gen (2022 and newer)

The 3rd gen is a new truck with a different front end and rear coil springs in place of leaf springs, so nearly every exterior part is specific to it. Many listings also cover the 2023+ Sequoia, which shares the platform.

Cab, bed and trim

• Cab. Rock sliders, seat deletes and roof racks are sold by cab. CrewMax and Double Cab versions of these parts do not swap.
• Bed length. Bed racks and some sliders depend on bed length.
• TRD Pro and rear air. Some leveling kits exclude the TRD Pro or trucks with factory rear air.

The "where to start" column is a starting point, not a ranking.

Lighting: headlights, fog lights and ditch lights

• Headlights (2014–2021). The Morimoto Toyota Tundra (14-21) XB LED Headlights are complete Bi-LED projector assemblies with a sequential white or amber DRL that plug into the factory multi-pin connector. Morimoto rates them at 33% more low beam and 100% more high beam than stock.
• Fog lights (2022+). The Baja Designs Toyota S2 SAE OEM Fog Light Replacement Kit for the 2022-2026 Tundra includes four S2 SAE lights in clear or amber, brackets and harnesses. Baja notes the kit fits the TRD Limited non-Pro model, so confirm your trim on the product page.
• Ditch lights (2022+). The Rago 2022+ Toyota Tundra Ditch Light Brackets hold one pod per side and bolt to the hood hinge points with no drilling. Rago notes minimal trimming of the wiper cowl.

Front bumpers, rock sliders, skid plates and recovery

Front bumpers

• 3rd gen. The DV8 2022-2026 Toyota Tundra MTO Series Winch Front Bumper has a hidden winch mount, two 3/4" D-ring mounts, cutouts for two 3" pods and a 20" light bar mount. DV8 says it works with factory skid plates on all trims, including TRD.
• 2014–2021. The ADD 2014-2021 Toyota Tundra Stealth Fighter Winch Front Bumper is a steel plate design with a winch mount, parking sensor cutouts, 10" SR light mounts per side and clevis mounts for soft shackles.
• 2007–2013. The C4 Fabrication Tundra Overland Series Front Bumper (2nd Gen, 2007-2013) is 3/16" steel, takes most 8,000–12,000 lb winches and keeps OEM parking sensor provisions. It needs paint or coating unless you choose powder coat.

Rock sliders and skid plates

This is where cab and bed length matter most. The C4 Fabrication Tundra Rock Sliders (2nd Gen, 2014-2021) are described for the 2nd gen CrewMax and bolt on with no drilling, welding or fuel tank drop. The C4 Fabrication Tundra Rock Sliders (3rd Gen, 2022+) are built for the CrewMax short bed. Underneath, the DV8 2022-2026 Tundra Front Lower Control Arm Skid Plates are 4.5mm steel and, per DV8, work with the factory TRD suspension and skid plate. Recovery

The SXTH Element 2022+ Toyota Tundra Rear Recovery Points are 7075 aluminum, bolt on with no cutting or drilling, and are rated by SXTH at 15,000 lbs in a straight-line pull. The DV8 Elite Series 3/4" D-Ring Shackles are a forged pair with an 8 ton working load limit per DV8. For synthetic rope, the Rago Winch Fairlead is billet 7075-T6 aluminum, rated by Rago at 20,000 lbs (open hook) and 30,000 lbs (closed hook).

Suspension, leveling and Coachbuilder shackles

Many Tundras sit lower in front than in back, and a loaded bed makes the rear sag. Leveling the front and adding rear shackles are the simplest ways to change the stance. See our Coachbuilder shackles guide and the Toyota Tundra lift kit guide for more.

• Rear shackles (2007–2021). The Coachbuilder +2" Shackle Kit, 1.25" Rear Lift fits the 2007–2021 Tundra including TRD Pro. The shackles are 6061-T6 billet aluminum and a carrier bearing drop kit is included. +1", +3" and +4" kits are also listed.
• Front leveling (2007–2021). The ReadyLIFT 2.4" Front Leveling Kit for the 2007-2021 Tundra uses top-mount strut extensions, includes diff drop spacers and clears tires up to 33". ReadyLIFT lists it for non-TRD Pro trucks.
• Front leveling (2022+). The ReadyLIFT 2" Front Leveling Kit With Diff Drops for the 2022-2026 Tundra supports tires up to 34". It is not for the TRD Pro or trucks with factory rear air.

Plan on an alignment after any leveling kit or lift.

Bed racks, bed storage and tie-downs

Bed racks and storage

• The Cali Raised LED Overland Bed Rack for 2014-2021 Tundra is mostly aluminum, weighs 55 lbs and comes in 10" and 17.5" heights with a choice of bed length. Cali Raised says a bed railing system is required.
• The Fishbone Offroad Half Height Tackle Rack for Ford F-150/Toyota Tundra is 10-gauge steel and listed for short beds on 2005-current Tundras. That range spans generations, so confirm fitment on the product page. A separate 74" long bed version is listed.
• On 2022+ trucks, the Rago 2022+ Toyota Tundra Bed Side Molle Panels (Driver Side) use the vertical bed space for a shovel, jack or recovery gear. The passenger side is sold separately.

Tie-downs

The Charvonia Design Bed Tie-Down Anchors for Toyota Tundra are a pair of 6061-T6 aluminum anchors listed for 2000–2026, with a center slot that Charvonia says keeps ratchet straps from falling out. The Charvonia Design Rail Tie-Downs for Toyota Tundra replace the factory rail cleats on 2007–2026 trucks with OEM bed rails. On a 2022+ Tundra, the VersaTrax Bed Tie-Down Rails are flush L-track rails that need no drilling, with a 750 lb working load limit per VersaTrax. Our tie-down anchors guide compares the options.

Interior, emblems and chrome delete

Interior

• The Goose Gear 3rd Gen CrewMax Second Row Seat Delete Plate System comes as a 40% or 60% delete, or both. Goose Gear says it does not affect the factory subwoofer.
• The Goose Gear 2014-2021 CrewMax Seat Delete Plate System includes a back wall, but the factory subwoofer must be removed or relocated for the 60% side. Double Cab versions are listed separately.
• The DV8 2022-2026 Tundra Center Console Molle Panels & Device Bridge adds molle on both sides of the console and a device bridge with five M5 PEM nuts.

Emblems and chrome delete

• The Tufskinz Grille Letter Inserts for the 2022-2026 Tundra are a 3-piece domed kit in 37 finishes, installed with 3M adhesive and no drilling.
• The Ecoological 2014-2021 Tundra Grille Surround and Hood Bulge Overlay covers the chrome with TPO and ABS overlays on 3M tape. One unit includes both pieces.
• For 2022+ trucks, the Ecoological 2022-2026 Tundra Front Grille Surround BumperShellz covers the 3rd gen front grille surround. Ecoological recommends a dry fit first for color-matched parts.

Frequently asked questions

What are good first accessories for a Toyota Tundra?

There is no single right order. Many owners start with lighting, upgraded bed tie-downs, and a leveling kit or rear shackles to fix the stance. Add rock sliders and skid plates once you know you will be on rocky trails.

Do 2nd gen Tundra accessories fit a 2022+ Tundra?

Almost never. The 3rd gen has a different body, front end and rear suspension, so bumpers, sliders, lighting brackets, emblems and suspension parts are sold separately for it. A few bed items, like the Charvonia bed tie-down anchors listed for 2000 to 2026, cover several generations.

What changed on the Tundra in 2014?

The 2014 refresh gave the 2nd gen a new front end, so headlights, fog lights, front bumpers and grille emblems are split into 2007 to 2013 and 2014 to 2021 versions. Frame and suspension parts such as Coachbuilder shackles usually cover 2007 to 2021.

Do Tundra rock sliders fit both CrewMax and Double Cab trucks?

Not usually. The C4 Fabrication sliders are described for the CrewMax, and Cali Raised LED says its 2022+ sliders fit the CrewMax 5.5 ft bed but not the CrewMax 6.5 ft bed or the Double Cab. Match the slider to your cab and bed length.

Do Coachbuilder shackles fit the 2022+ Tundra?

No. The Coachbuilder shackle kits are listed for the 2007 to 2021 Tundra, including TRD Pro. The 3rd gen uses rear coil springs instead of leaf springs, so leaf spring shackles do not apply.

What size tires fit a leveled Tundra?

It depends on the kit. ReadyLIFT lists up to 33 inch tires with its 2.4 inch kit for the 2007 to 2021 Tundra, and up to 34 inch tires with its 2 inch kit for the 2022 to 2026 Tundra. Wheel offset changes the answer, so read each kit's tire notes.

Will a bed rack fit any Tundra bed length?

No. Fishbone Offroad sells its Half Height Tackle Rack in short bed and 74 inch long bed versions, and Cali Raised LED asks you to choose a bed length for its overland rack. Check your bed length before ordering.

Are LED headlights street legal on a Tundra?

Some are sold as compliant. Morimoto says its XB LED headlights for the 2014 to 2021 Tundra meet SAE, DOT and FMVSS108. Rules for auxiliary lights vary, so check your state and aim the headlights after install.
