What's covered
- Recovery boards that fail because of a manufacturing defect when used per the MAXTRAX instructions

- Burned or melted teeth from spinning tires
- Damage from use on rocky or hard surfaces
- Wear and tear, abuse, misuse, or accidental impact

How to make a MAXTRAX warranty claim
- Email sales@maxtraxus.com with proof of purchase, photos/details of the damage, and your vehicle info
- Wait for approval before shipping
- Ship to the address MAXTRAX provides (the policy lists 47 Griffin Crescent, Brendale Queensland 4500, Australia)
- MAXTRAX inspects and replaces approved boards; freight is reimbursed only if the claim is approved

MAXTRAX XTRACT Insert Tool
The XTRACT Insert Tool is the MAXTRAX tool for servicing XTREME recovery boards. It removes and installs the replaceable alloy teeth, so a damaged tooth can be swapped in a few minutes rather than writing off the board.
It also does double duty on the rack: the socket fits all MAXTRAX Mounting Pins and makes turning the locking knuckles easier. It measures 300 x 170 x 50 mm and weighs 240 g, small enough to live in the recovery bag.

Will it work on MKII boards?
No. MAXTRAX states it is not compatible with MKII recovery tracks, which do not have replaceable teeth.
Can I use it on my mounting pins?
Yes. The socket fits all MAXTRAX Mounting Pins and makes turning the locking knuckles easy.
Does it come with teeth?
No, this is the tool only. Replacement teeth are sold separately, or as part of the XTREME Teeth Replacement Kit.
