The Mid Height bed rack is Backwoods Adventure Mods' lower-profile Tundra rack. It gives you the same modular mounting as the Full Height version in a shorter package, so a rooftop tent can sit roughly in line with the cab instead of towering over it, with less drag and less overall height.
Why it works
It is all aluminum, assembles with bolts only, and weighs 45 lbs. Top C-channel crossbars add lateral strength, and modular side panels give you places to hang gear. It stands 10 inches from the top of the bed rail to the top of the rack. Black powder coat is included, it is made in the USA, and Backwoods backs it with a lifetime warranty.

- 2022+ (3rd gen) Toyota Tundra, short bed
- 2007-2021 (2nd gen) Toyota Tundra, short bed, with factory bed rails/tracks
- 2007+ long bed Tundras also fit, but the rack will not run the full length of the bed
Works with
Backwoods bike tray mounts, HD awning brackets and the Dogbone traction board mount, plus storage boxes and deck panels. Accessories in the photos are not included.

How is this different from the Full Height rack?
It is shorter, standing 10 inches above the bed rail, so a rooftop tent sits closer to cab height with less drag. The Full Height version sits flush with the cab.
Does it fit a 2nd gen Tundra?
Yes, 2007-2021 short bed Tundras with the factory bed rails. Long beds fit too, but the rack will not cover the full bed length.
Are the accessories in the photos included?
No. Bike mounts, awning brackets, boxes and panels are sold separately.
