The PURE Induction oiled filter is a replacement element for SXTH Element CPLT intake systems, built for people who drive where the air is not clean. Gravel roads, job sites, dusty trails and construction zones put far more debris in the air than pavement does, and an oiled cotton filter is the version SXTH Element recommends for those conditions. It is washable and reusable with proper maintenance.
If your driving is mostly clean pavement, the vendor says the dry filter remains a simple and effective choice. This one is for the rest of us.
Fitment
It is a precision-fit replacement for SXTH Element CPLT intake systems on the Toyota Tacoma, 4Runner, Tundra and Land Cruiser. It does not fit the Elantra N-Line CPLT. Vehicle years follow the CPLT intake for each platform.
Care and service intervals
Oiling matters here. Proper oiling is important for correct operation, and over-oiling may contaminate the MAF sensor, so go light and follow the instructions. For standard street use, clean it every 10,000 miles and replace it every 30,000 miles. For off-road or harsh conditions, clean it every 5,000 miles and replace it every 15,000 miles.
Questions before you order?
Fitment questions are easier to settle before the box ships. Call or text Carl & Anton at (920) 249-7744 or use the chat — real humans in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, not a call center.

SXTH Element PURE Induction Oiled Air Filter FAQs
Who should choose the oiled filter instead of the dry one?
Drivers who regularly deal with dust, dirt and debris, such as gravel or dirt roads, off-road trails and construction areas. If your air is clean, the vendor says the dry filter remains a simple and effective choice.
Can I over-oil it?
Yes, and you should avoid it. The vendor warns that over-oiling may result in MAF contamination, so oil it properly and lightly.
How often do I clean or replace it?
Standard street use: clean every 10,000 miles and replace every 30,000. Off-road or harsh use: clean every 5,000 miles and replace every 15,000.
Does it fit every SXTH Element intake?
It fits the CPLT intake systems for the Tacoma, 4Runner, Tundra and Land Cruiser. It does not fit the Elantra N-Line CPLT.
