How to make a Ruff Rax claim
- Have your proof of purchase or sales receipt ready; OVS asks for it with every warranty claim
- Photograph the defect and note your part number before you remove or ship anything
- Contact OVS Warranty Service by phone or email (below). OVS decides whether the item is defective and, if it is, repairs or replaces it with an equivalent product
- Freight deliveries (caps, racks, tents): inspect before you sign, note any damage on the bill of lading, and report damage or missing pieces within 24 hours

Ruff Rax Tent Riser Bracket
A rooftop tent bolted straight to the rack crossbars eats the space you wanted for an awning, a light bar or a set of recovery boards. This bracket lifts the tent off the rack by 2, 4 or 7 inches, opening a gap underneath so other accessories can share the rack instead of fighting the tent for it.
The bracket is heavy-duty steel with a powder-coated finish that holds up to corrosion, UV and bad weather, and it is made in the USA. It bolts to compatible Ruff Rax systems and keeps the tent clamped down while you gain clearance. Browse more roof rack accessories to fill the space it frees up.

Each bracket comes with two sets of mounting hardware: a nylock nut, two washers and a bolt per set.
