- Photograph the defect and note your part number before you remove or ship anything
- Contact OVS Warranty Service by phone or email (below). OVS decides whether the item is defective and, if it is, repairs or replaces it with an equivalent product
- Freight deliveries (caps, racks, tents): inspect before you sign, note any damage on the bill of lading, and report damage or missing pieces within 24 hours

Ruff Rax Roof Rack for the Ford Ranger (2024-2027)
The new-generation Ranger is a capable midsize platform with a cab roof that is too useful to leave bare. This Ruff Rax roof rack mounts over it with a low aluminum platform for a rooftop tent, cargo or recovery boards, while the bed stays free for everything else.
The rack is all aluminum with stainless black hardware, and the extrusions are custom profiles with channels on both sides that take Thule, Yakima, Rhino-Rack and universal T-slot mounts. A dual-stage textured powder coat matches OE trim, the crossbars sit flush to cut down on wind noise, and the mounting feet are recessed so the whole thing looks clean from the side. Made for the Ford Ranger, model years 2024-2027. That covers the Ranger 5th Gen (2024 - Present). This one must be used with a Yakima or Thule roof rail channel system, and the spec sheet lists the mounting interface as drilling required, so plan for the channel install first or have a shop do it.
Ruff Rax rates the install at beginner level with printed instructions, but assembly is required and two people make it much easier. It comes with 5 crossbars. The noise-reduction strip is sold separately, so add it if wind noise matters to you. Check your rooftop tent or cargo weight against the 330 lb static and 660 lb dynamic limits. Will my existing accessories mount to it?
