Ruff Rax Modular Roof Rack for RAM 1500 (2019-2027) - No Light Bar Cutout

Ruff Rax Roof Rack for the RAM 1500 (2019-2027)

On a 2019-and-newer RAM 1500, the cab roof is open space for a rooftop tent, long cargo or recovery boards. This Ruff Rax roof rack is the version without a light bar cutout, so the front fascia is a clean, solid piece and the aluminum platform behind it is all usable deck.

Ruff Rax builds it from aluminum extrusions with T-slot channels on both faces, so most accessory mounts from Thule, Yakima and Rhino-Rack slide right in. It is finished in a dual-stage, OE-matched textured powder coat, uses stainless black hardware, and keeps the crossbars flush with the frame to keep gaps and wind noise down. Made for the RAM 1500, model years 2019-2027. That covers the Ram 1500 5th Gen (2019 - Present). Ruff Rax notes that its roof racks ride on Universal Heavy-Duty Roof Tracks (TP-54), installed professionally by Ruff Rax or a certified installer, and the spec sheet lists the mounting interface for this one as drilling required, so budget for that install before the rack goes on.

Ruff Rax rates the install at beginner level with printed instructions, but assembly is required and two people make it much easier. It comes with 5 crossbars. The noise-reduction strip is sold separately, so add it if wind noise matters to you. Check your rooftop tent or cargo weight against the 330 lb static and 660 lb dynamic limits. This one ships by freight truck, so plan on a delivery appointment. Not sure it fits your setup? Call us at (920) 249-7744 and a real person will check it.
