- Have your proof of purchase or sales receipt ready; OVS asks for it with every warranty claim
- Photograph the defect and note your part number before you remove or ship anything
- Contact OVS Warranty Service by phone or email (below). OVS decides whether the item is defective and, if it is, repairs or replaces it with an equivalent product
- Freight deliveries (caps, racks, tents): inspect before you sign, note any damage on the bill of lading, and report damage or missing pieces within 24 hours

Ruff Rax Roof Rack for the Toyota Tacoma (2016-2023)
On a third-gen Tacoma, the cab roof is the easiest place to add capacity without touching the bed. This Ruff Rax roof rack puts a low aluminum platform up there for a rooftop tent, light bar or recovery boards, contoured to the Tacoma's cab instead of sitting on it like a box.
The rack is all aluminum with stainless black hardware, and the extrusions are custom profiles with channels on both sides that take Thule, Yakima, Rhino-Rack and universal T-slot mounts. A dual-stage textured powder coat matches OE trim, the crossbars sit flush to cut down on wind noise, and the mounting feet are recessed so the whole thing looks clean from the side. Ruff Rax describes this rack as using the factory roof mount points, but its spec sheet also lists the mounting interface as drilling required. Call us before you order and we'll confirm what your roof needs.
Ruff Rax rates the install at beginner level with printed instructions, but assembly is required and two people make it much easier. It comes with 5 crossbars. The noise-reduction strip is sold separately, so add it if wind noise matters to you. Check your rooftop tent or cargo weight against the 330 lb static and 660 lb dynamic limits.
