Ruff Rax Modular Roof Rack for Chevy Colorado / GMC Canyon (2015-2022)

Ruff Rax Roof Rack for the Colorado/Canyon (2015-2022)

A second-gen Colorado or Canyon doesn't have much room to spare, so the cab roof is worth putting to work. This Ruff Rax roof rack adds an aluminum platform shaped to the cab for a rooftop tent, recovery boards or cargo, leaving the 5 ft bed free for the rest.

Ruff Rax builds it from aluminum extrusions with T-slot channels on both faces, so most accessory mounts from Thule, Yakima and Rhino-Rack slide right in. It is finished in a dual-stage, OE-matched textured powder coat, uses stainless black hardware, and keeps the crossbars flush with the frame to keep gaps and wind noise down. Made for the Chevy Colorado / GMC Canyon, model years 2015-2022. That covers the Canyon 2nd Gen (2015 - 2022) and Colorado 2nd Gen (2015 - 2022). This one must be used with a Yakima or Thule roof rail channel system, and the spec sheet lists the mounting interface as drilling required, so plan for the channel install first or have a shop do it.

Ruff Rax rates the install at beginner level with printed instructions, but assembly is required and two people make it much easier. It comes with 5 crossbars. The noise-reduction strip is sold separately, so add it if wind noise matters to you. Check your rooftop tent or cargo weight against the 330 lb static and 660 lb dynamic limits. This one ships by freight truck, so plan on a delivery appointment. Not sure it fits your setup? Call us at (920) 249-7744 and a real person will check it.
