- Have your proof of purchase or sales receipt ready; OVS asks for it with every warranty claim
- Photograph the defect and note your part number before you remove or ship anything
- Contact OVS Warranty Service by phone or email (below). OVS decides whether the item is defective and, if it is, repairs or replaces it with an equivalent product
- Freight deliveries (caps, racks, tents): inspect before you sign, note any damage on the bill of lading, and report damage or missing pieces within 24 hours

Ruff Rax Bed Rack for the Silverado/Sierra 1500 (2019-2027)
Plenty of 2019-and-newer Silverado and Sierra 1500 owners already run a Retrax or Roll N Lock cover and don't want to give it up to carry a tent. This version of the Ruff Rax bed rack is built around those covers: it mounts to the cover's track, puts a steel platform over the 5.7 ft bed and leaves the cover working underneath.
Under the finish is custom steel, e-coated and then powder coated in an OE-style texture so it sits next to factory trim without looking like a fabrication project. The kit ships with four hybrid MOLLE side panels that are pre-tapped for mounting tanks and tools, plus extra mounting holes on the frame for lighting, grab handles and brackets. Made for the Chevy Silverado / GMC Sierra 1500 with the 5.7 ft bed, model years 2019-2027. That covers the Sierra 5th Gen (2019 - Present) and Silverado 4th Gen (2019 - Present) trucks. Pick the mount that matches your truck: the Retrax Tonneau Cover Mount version mounts to the track of a Retrax tonneau cover, so you need that cover installed; the Mid Height - Retrax Tonneau Cover version is a mid-height version that mounts to a Retrax tonneau cover track; the Roll N Lock Tonneau Cover Mount version rides on the track of a Roll N Lock tonneau cover, so you need that cover installed.
Everything to build the rack comes in the box: two base plates, six side uprights, three cross members, two center spines, the four MOLLE panels and the hardware for both. Ruff Rax rates the install at beginner level, but plan on two people because the frame is long and heavy. Every option on this listing mounts to a tonneau cover track, so the matching Retrax or Roll N Lock cover has to be on the truck first. Will this bed rack fit my Silverado/Sierra 1500?
It is made for the Chevy Silverado / GMC Sierra 1500 with the 5.7 ft bed, 2019-2027. If your bed length or cover setup is different, call us before ordering.
Which mount option do I need?
Match it to your bed cover. The tonneau versions need the specific cover named in the option, and the other versions are for trucks with no cover.
How much weight can it carry?
Ruff Rax rates it at 900 lb static and 1,300 lb dynamic. Check your rooftop tent's own limits as well.
Do I have to drill my truck?
No. It secures with the included clamps, or with sliding blocks on track-style rails, and two people are recommended for the install.
What comes in the box?
