A RAM 2500 or 3500 with the 6.4 ft bed can haul just about anything, but loose gear and a tent on top need structure. This Ruff Rax bed rack frames the bed in steel, gives a rooftop tent or cargo a stable deck and adds four MOLLE panels for cans and tools, covering trucks from 2011 through 2027.

Ruff Rax builds the frame from custom steel, e-coats it, then finishes it in an OE-texture powder coat for long-term corrosion resistance. It comes with four pre-tapped hybrid MOLLE panels for cans, tools and accessories, and the uprights carry integrated holes for lights, grab handles and accessory brackets. Made for the RAM 2500 / 3500 with the 6.4 ft bed, model years 2011-2027. That covers the Ram 2500 4th Gen (2009 - 2018) and Ram 2500 5th Gen (2019 - Present) and Ram 3500 4th Gen (2009 - 2018) and Ram 3500 5th Gen (2019 - Present) trucks. Pick the mount that matches your truck: the 6.4 ft Bed (stake pocket mount) version clamps into the factory stake pockets and is not built to work with a bed cover; the Mount with Hard Tonneau Cover version mounts to a hard tonneau cover track system, so the cover has to be on the truck.

Everything to build the rack comes in the box: two base plates, six side uprights, three cross members, two center spines, the four MOLLE panels and the hardware for both. Ruff Rax rates the install at beginner level, but plan on two people because the frame is long and heavy. The tonneau-mount versions only work with the cover named in the option, and the other versions are not compatible with a bed cover, so match the option to what is on your truck now.
