- Improper installation, alteration, abuse, neglect or accidents
- Corrosion and normal wear
- Off-road damage (with some exceptions RCI decides case by case)
- Freight, labor, installation or downtime costs
- Hook marks from hanging parts for coating, unless the finish fails

- Write a description of the damage and take clear photos
- Include a copy of the original invoice
- RCI inspects the part and decides whether to repair or replace it

Add a high clearance front bumper to a newer 4Runner, run the Pike bumper with Pike Wings, or make a "Viper Cut" in the factory bumper, and the windshield washer fluid reservoir ends up hanging low and exposed. This RCI Metalworks skid plate covers it so a trail strike does not cost you the reservoir.
