About the brand
Morimoto headlights are why most people land here: plug-and-play XB LED headlight assemblies that replace dim factory halogens on Ford, Ram, Chevy/GMC, Toyota, Jeep and Nissan trucks. Morimoto designs, engineers and tests its lights in-house in Atlanta, and NVMOS also carries its LED headlights, tail lights, fog lights, ditch light kits and Banger pods.

The smoked XB LED tail lights (LF729) swap the factory units on the 2015-2019 Silverado 2500HD and 3500HD for a design built from two horizontal rows of TIR optics that light up 3D blades for brake and turn signals. They are easy to read in daylight and at night. Reverse lighting is handled by built-in white LEDs, and Morimoto's optional LED Reverse Light Bar adds roughly 2,700 lumens of extra rear light if you tow or back into dark spots.
The lights comply with DOT and SAE requirements for rear-facing lamps and are third-party tested, with a five-year warranty. Brake, parking and turn functions are red, using SSC LEDs behind a UV-resistant polycarbonate lens in an ABS housing. This listing is the smoked version; the red-lens XB version is a separate product.
Fitment
Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD and 3500HD, 2015-2019. Trucks with OEM LED tail lights need the optional LF728HT adapters. The lights replace GM part numbers GM2800261 and GM2801261. The housings were designed for and tested on US-spec vehicles, so compatibility elsewhere is not guaranteed.
What's included
One pair of 2015-2019 Silverado HD XB LED tail lights. OEM LED adapters are an optional add-on.
