The Red XB LED Tail Lights (LF728) replace the factory tail lights on a 2014-2018 Silverado 1500 with a design that has two rows of TIR optics and 3D light blades serving as the brake lights and turn signals. The reverse lights are powerful white LEDs, and an optional LED reverse light bar can add more rear visibility.
They are listed as compliant with DOT and SAE regulations for rear-facing lamps and carry a five-year warranty. The housing is ABS plastic with a UV-resistant polycarbonate lens, and the light source is SSC LEDs. Brake, parking and turn signal outputs are red and the reverse light is white. A smoked-lens version also exists for those who prefer it.
The tail light housings are ABS plastic with a UV-resistant polycarbonate lens, and the connection is the GM multi-pin OEM style, so the adapter harness plugs into the factory wiring.
Fitment
Chevy Silverado 1500, 2014-2018. Trucks with OEM LED tail lights need the optional LF728HT adapters. The lights replace GM part numbers GM2800261 and GM2801261. The housings were designed and tested on US-spec vehicles.
