These smoked XB LED tail lights (LF729) replace the factory units on the 2014-2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 with a modern design: two rows of TIR optics and 3D light blades that serve as brake lights and turn signals. They are meant to be noticed day and night. Reverse is handled by built-in white LED lamps, and you can add Morimoto's optional LED reverse light bar for more rear visibility.
Brake, parking and turn signal functions are red, driven by SSC LEDs behind a UV-resistant polycarbonate lens in an ABS housing. The lights comply with DOT and SAE regulations for rear-facing lamps and carry a five-year warranty. A red-lens version is also offered separately.
Fitment
Fits the 2014-2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. Trucks equipped with OEM LED tail lights require the optional LF728HT adapters. The lights replace GM part numbers GM2800261 and GM2801261. The housings were designed for and tested on US-spec vehicles.
