These Morimoto XB LED license plate lights are complete replacement assemblies for the 2000-2013 Toyota Tundra, not bulbs for your old housings. The idea is to swap the whole lamp for one with Osram LEDs and a UV-coated polycarbonate lens in a smoked finish, so the plate light matches the color and crispness of any other LED lighting on the truck.
Morimoto describes the lifespan as virtually infinite and says the lens resists fading better than cheaper alternatives. It also says the lights are plug and play with the factory connectors, with no error codes, flicker, hyper-flash or radio interference, and that installing them does not void your factory warranty. Output is white. This is the LF7726 version.
