Morimoto's XB LED headlights for the 4Runner are designed to plug into a factory harness, and this adapter pair is what bridges the gap on trucks that came with OE projector-LED headlights. Each harness lets the aftermarket housing talk to the factory wiring so you can keep every headlight function working, without splicing or soldering. It is a small part, but picking the wrong one is the usual reason an install stalls, so the two versions matter.
The harness is plug and play. Morimoto lists function retention as 100 percent, which means the factory lighting behavior carries over once the XB headlights are connected. This listing is the adapter only; the XB headlight housings are a separate purchase.
Fitment
2021-2024 Toyota 4Runner with OE projector-LED headlights. There are two harness versions. LF531H is for trucks with LED high beams: the 2021 Limited, Nightshade and TRD Pro, plus all 2024 trucks. LF531H-2 is for trucks with halogen high beams: 2021 trucks other than Limited, Nightshade and TRD Pro. The vendor does not break out the 2022 and 2023 model years, so confirm your truck's high beam type with us before ordering.

Which version do I need, LF531H or LF531H-2?
LF531H is for trucks with LED high beams (2021 Limited, Nightshade and TRD Pro, and all 2024 trucks). LF531H-2 is for 2021 trucks with halogen high beams. The vendor does not list 2022-2023 separately, so check with us.
Does this include the headlights?
No. It is the adapter harness pair only. The Morimoto XB LED headlights are sold separately.
Do I need to splice any wires?
