How to make a M.O.R.E. warranty claim
- Get a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) number first; M.O.R.E. won't accept a warranty return without one
- Have a copy of your original receipt showing where you bought it, the date and the price paid

Toyota covers the second-gen Tundra's fuel tank with plastic. This M.O.R.E. skid plate replaces that cover with 3/16-inch aluminum, so the tank can take a rock strike without you holding your breath.
It fits 2007-2021 Toyota Tundra models with the 26-gallon tank. Installation is four bolts at the factory hole locations. M.O.R.E. lists the aluminum plate at about 24 lb.
One thing to check before you order: unless your Tundra is a TRD Pro, it most likely needs the rear tank strap Toyota includes with the Tundra off-road package, which has two bolt studs pointing down from the bottom of the tank. Toyota part number 77602-0C150 is available through a Toyota dealer.
Choose bare aluminum or Pure Black, Tactical Gray, Flame Red or Desert Sand powder coat. Bare plates will carry some scratches from the manufacturing process.

Do I need any extra parts?
Unless your Tundra is a TRD Pro, you most likely need Toyota's rear fuel tank strap, part number 77602-0C150, from a Toyota dealer.
How does it mount?
Four bolts at the factory hole locations, in place of the plastic cover.
Should I pick bare aluminum or a powder coat color?
M.O.R.E. notes bare aluminum may show some scratches from manufacturing. Powder coat (Pure Black, Tactical Gray, Flame Red or Desert Sand) gives a finished color but will wear where the plate meets rock, and finish wear is not covered by the warranty.
What does the warranty cover?
M.O.R.E.'s RockProof Lifetime Warranty covers product failure for the original retail purchaser for as long as they own the vehicle. The powder coat finish is a wear item and is not covered, and install labor, shipping, altered parts and wrong-vehicle installs are excluded.
