What's covered
- Defective products are replaced with the same item, or a comparable one if it's been discontinued
- Diode Dynamics may replace just the failed component
- Finish defects caused by manufacturing, during the first 3 years
- Moisture beyond normal condensation that points to a seal failure, at Diode Dynamics' discretion
- Free tech support for the life of the product, even after the warranty ends
What's not covered
- Normal condensation, and paint or coating wear from regular use
- Installation or labor costs
- Improper installation or use, abuse, or opening, rewiring or repairing a product
- Swapping lenses on Stage Series lights voids the 3-year coverage (the 8-year coverage stays)
- Purchases from unauthorized sellers; coverage is for the original buyer and isn't transferable
How to make a Diode Dynamics claim
- Keep your proof of purchase; every claim needs it (gift recipients can register within 90 days of the original purchase instead)
- Request an RMA through Diode Dynamics' returns portal and work through diagnosis with their support team
- Nothing goes back without an RMA number; include photos for moisture claims
- For US customers, Diode Dynamics covers shipping on 3-year claims, plus return shipping for inspection on 8-year and lifetime claims

The Diode Dynamics SS5 Stealth Grille LED Pod Kit tucks two or four SS5 pods behind the grille of the 2014-2024 Toyota 4Runner. The pods stay tucked in where they are hard to snag, but still throw a lot of light down the trail. It is a bolt-on kit, and you can start with brackets only if you already have pods.
Why it works
- Bolt-on mounting for two or four SS5 pods behind the grille
- Custom-engineered TIR optics for very high intensity
- Selectable backlight color with eight color options
- Torture-tested, heavy-duty construction, IP69K waterproof
- SS5 pods are assembled in USA
Options
Start with the kit size: two pods or four pods, each in Sport (40 W per pod) or Pro (90 W per pod) power, or Bracket Only. Then pick the optic and color: Combo (driving and flood) for general trail use or Driving (20°x8°) for reach, in White (6000K) or Yellow (3000K). Diode lists the white driving pod at 131,300 cd for Sport and 170,000 cd for Pro.
