Diode Dynamics FAQs
Where are Diode Dynamics lights made?
Diode Dynamics designs and engineers its lights in St. Charles, Missouri, and assembles as much as it can there, including circuit boards, wiring and, more recently, optics.
What warranty do Diode Dynamics pods have?
Stage Series LED pods ordered on or after April 15, 2025 carry a lifetime warranty against functional failure for recreational use. All Diode Dynamics products get at least 3 years.
What's the difference between SS3 and SS5 pods?
Size and output. SS3 pods are compact for ditch, fog and bumper spots; SS5 pods are larger and put out more light where you have room to mount them.
Should I get white or yellow?
Yellow cuts glare in dust, fog, rain and snow. White gives the most usable light in clear conditions. Plenty of people run white up high and yellow down low.
Does buying from NVMOS keep the warranty valid?
Diode Dynamics voids coverage on purchases from unauthorized sellers. NVMOS is a Diode Dynamics dealer, and you'll want to keep your order confirmation as proof of purchase.
