What's covered
- Defective products are replaced with the same item, or a comparable one if it's been discontinued

- Moisture beyond normal condensation that points to a seal failure, at Diode Dynamics' discretion
- Free tech support for the life of the product, even after the warranty ends
What's not covered
- Normal condensation, and paint or coating wear from regular use
- Installation or labor costs
- Improper installation or use, abuse, or opening, rewiring or repairing a product
- Swapping lenses on Stage Series lights voids the 3-year coverage (the 8-year coverage stays)
- Purchases from unauthorized sellers; coverage is for the original buyer and isn't transferable
How to make a Diode Dynamics claim
- Keep your proof of purchase; every claim needs it (gift recipients can register within 90 days of the original purchase instead)
- Request an RMA through Diode Dynamics' returns portal and work through diagnosis with their support team
- Nothing goes back without an RMA number; include photos for moisture claims
- For US customers, Diode Dynamics covers shipping on 3-year claims, plus return shipping for inspection on 8-year and lifetime claims

The Diode Dynamics Elite Series Type M Fog Lamps are a complete, OEM-grade replacement for the factory fog lamps on the Jeep JK Wrangler, Jeep JL Wrangler and Jeep JT Gladiator, sold as a pair. A custom-engineered optic throws a very wide, intense fog beam, and an integrated amber backlight gives the lamps a look nobody will mistake for stock.

Options
Three versions, all sold as a pair. Cool White (6000K) is rated at about 13,000 candela, Yellow (3000K) at about 11,400 candela, and Dual-Color (6000K/3000K) gives you both colors in one lamp. The main beam draws about 18 watts per lamp (white or yellow).

White (6000K) is the brightest at about 13,000 candela; yellow (3000K) is about 11,400. Dual-Color gives you both in the same lamp.
How does Elite compare to the SS3 fog kits?
Elite lamps replace the whole factory fog lamp as an OEM-style unit with an integrated amber backlight, while the SS3 kits put Diode Dynamics SS3 pods behind a factory-style bezel or bracket with Sport, Pro and Max power choices.
