The embossed TRD lettering on a 4Runner skid plate is easy to miss. Tufskinz Skid Plate Letter Inserts fill each letter with a raised, domed piece, so the skid plate gets a color accent that matches or contrasts with your truck.
Tufskinz builds its domed parts in three layers: a UV doming resin face that stands 4mm proud with a high-gloss, scratch-resistant finish, a substrate layer (the Tufskinz line draws on factory color matches, real carbon fiber, chrome and camouflage), and 3M automotive-grade adhesive on the back. Raw real carbon fiber is the exception and sits 1mm proud.
Fitment
Listed by Tufskinz for the 2010-2024 Toyota 4Runner, with trim tags for SR5, SR5 Premium, Limited, TRD Sport, TRD Off-Road, TRD Off-Road Premium, TRD Pro and Trail Special Edition. The kit is made for the OEM skid plate with the embossed TRD lettering. Choose the correct model year option on the product page, since skid plate fitment is split by year range (the first range is 2010-2018). Colors include Toyota-style factory matches such as Gloss TRD Red, Army Green and Quicksand Tan.
