This is the spare tire carrier Backwoods Adventure Mods builds for its own dual swing-out rear bumpers. It mounts to the swing-out door and carries a spare up to 35 inches on a Tacoma or 4Runner.

Why it works

The carrier is cut from 3/16-inch aluminum, so it adds very little weight to a door that already has to swing a tire. It arrives with the wheel studs and every piece of mounting hardware, and Backwoods powder coats it at no extra charge. Backwoods backs it with its lifetime warranty.

Fitment

Built specifically for Backwoods dual swing-out rear bumpers on the Toyota Tacoma and 4Runner. It is not designed for other brands' bumpers or swing-outs, so if your truck wears something else, this is the wrong part. Call us if you are not sure which rear bumper you have.

Install notes
