This is the driver front upper frame bracket from TeraFlex's Pro LCG long arm system for the TJ Wrangler. The LCG brackets and rear axle truss are gusseted and reinforced for strength, and TeraFlex says they have reduced NVH compared with other long arm kits. They are cut on a CNC laser from 1/4 inch steel and precision bent. The bracket locates using the factory belly pan skid plate bolt holes and is then stitch welded, so it is a welded-in chassis part, not a bolt-on.
Fitment
Listed for the Jeep Wrangler TJ and TJ Unlimited, 1997-2006, with 3-5 inch lifts. It is one position of the Pro LCG long arm set, so you need to order the other positions you require.
Install notes
Must be used with adjustable LCG Long Control Arms (not included) to optimize caster angle and tune anti-squat geometry on TJ Wrangler and Unlimited models with 3-5 inch lifts. The LCG long control arms use 1.25 x 0.25 inch (front upper) or 1.75 x 0.25 inch (lower, rear upper) wall DOM tube. Installation requires cutting and welding, and cutting and removal of the factory control arm bracketry. Alignment is required.
