Bar pins are a weak point on older Jeeps. Over time they loosen, and the shock eyelet starts to slide from side to side on the pin, which takes the edge off what the shock can do. The TeraFlex Rear Upper Shock Bar Pin Eliminator Kit removes that pin and replaces it.
It installs in the place of the shock bar pin, and it also widens your shock choices, since you are no longer limited to the eyelet-style ends the bar pin accepts.
Fitment
Fits 1997-2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ, 1984-2001 Cherokee XJ and 1993-1998 Grand Cherokee ZJ, per TeraFlex.
This is the rear upper kit. Front or lower mounting locations are not covered by this listing.
